I don't really know why I went to this show as I don't really like either of the bands, but it was a pretty good time. The crowd really enjoyed it and it was funny seeing guys jumping over the barriers onto the floor and trying to run into the crowd, then being tackled by the security guards and trying to put up a fight from the ground whilst covered in 3 or 4 big guys.

We missed Bad Acid Trip.

The Mars Volta were crazy intense. So many solos, even flute and sax. I can't say that I listen to them very often but they really put a lot of energy into their show. I wonder how someone can write that kind of music.

System Of A Down were okay. Not particularly good music but they were fun to see. It was pretty funny when the crowd was doing the wave before they started. - Sun, 18 Sep 2005 7:28pm

that wave started up by a whole bunch of drunk dudes sitting infront of me up in the nose bleeds... once that wave started full tilt those dudes were just howlin' they tried for so long to get it started too. - Sun, 18 Sep 2005 9:23pm

near row 9 section 26?? lol!

I thought Mars Volta were amazing, but I wished I could hear them in a smaller venue, it was obvious they didn't get a sound check so anyone *not* in front of them had a problem hearing.

System of a Down were alright. I feel they mailed it in a bit towards the last half, but the crowd loved it, so maybe i'm just being a critic hehe. I had a great time. - Mon, 19 Sep 2005 12:30am
