Peter Gardner User Info... | Holy Silver Screens Batman! What an amazing show. Is it weird that I know close to all the words to Black Tie's stuff, and not a single word to any of the beatle songs they played? Chris, I did not realize you had that good of a voice. I'm impressed. It was weird seeing Aidan and Chris not play guitar and just sing. Great stuff though none the less. I took...46 pictures. I'll post links to the best ones up here. - Thu, 21 Jul 2005 8:21pm

RollingRocks User Info... | Thanks Peter. I'm actually more of a singer than a guitar player. Let's be honest I'm less than half the guitar player Aidan is. I just haven't found the right 'je ne sais quoi' to bring my vocal stylings to the black tie table. Thanks all for coming and listening and a big thanks to all our special guests: paul, matt, julia, marlaina, claire, gemma, hilary, nathizzle, caroline... it was a blast and a half. Come play with us again. - Fri, 22 Jul 2005 8:26am
cooper User Info... | Awesome pics, Peter! I had so much fun playing this show. Thanks to the core members of Black Tie Social for allowing me to take the stage with them. In addition to the people already thanked, I'd like to give a shout out to our delightful server at Denny's night restaurant, Heinz tomato ketchup bottles (the upside-down ones), and Larry Ferguson. Personal favorite: the opener - Subquestion. That was a class act from start to finish. - Fri, 22 Jul 2005 9:16am
Peter Gardner User Info... | Yea, Sub-Question is also one of my favs. But I think my all time Black Tie fav would be "+/-" just because of all the dynamics and such. It's a masterpeice. - Fri, 22 Jul 2005 9:57am

RollingRocks User Info... | Peter. so far you have posted on here 4 times... that's about half of the whole thread. I'm not even mad. I'm impressed. That's amazing. By the way, Jason. I'm going to punch you for going into the break in Hey Jude WAY too soon. - Fri, 22 Jul 2005 3:09pm
Joni User Info... | I had a really good time at the show. It was interesting to hear the black tie songs fleshed out with all those extra instruments (accordian, etc.), and the choir vocals were also a nice addition. At times I was a bit concerned the extra instruments would make the sound a bit muddy or jumbled, but the guys and gals managed to keep it together and overall it sounded pretty darn good. And besides, who doesn't like the Beatles? - Fri, 22 Jul 2005 5:25pm
RollingRocks User Info... | Joni. I still want to swap tshirts with you if you're down. - Fri, 22 Jul 2005 7:22pm
