Great show.

Vin Cat put on a great performance. Except I think the saw player should totally be cut.

Fun 100.. SO CRAZY, so much energy. So much breaking stuff. Hahaha, I loved it.

Next band: sleepy. I went outside.

The Femenists.. not completely a style I can fully appreciate buuuut I did enjoy them.

Immaculate Machine finished the show off with an amazing bang. I loved the new songs. I look forward to seeing my wife again soon at another show. And I can't wait for the new cd. - Sat, 2 Jul 2005 10:26pm

Fun show.

Vin Cat - Nice seeing you guys again. I look forward to when we meet again down the road. Kris's lion hat was hot and I want one. I would have baught a t-shirt but I didnt bring much money. Oops.

Fun 100 - So THAT's why you don't do drugs. Haha. Seriously though, crazy. Crazy. Crazy. Oh, yea, they were crazy. Their front-man especially, I think he bit his lip or something cause it looked like his mouth was bleeding, but that didn't stop him. The Mint Record moment was funny.

Away, Rio! - I realllllly liked them. Picked up a CD. It is awesome. I'd really like to see them again.

The Feminists - Not exactally my thing. Had decent moments, and their bassist looked like Meatloaf, so that was a plus.

Immaculate Machine - Always amazing. I wish they would have got to play a bit longer. The new songs sounded great. Especially Broken Ship. I was diggin that song.

All in all, a good night. - Sun, 3 Jul 2005 7:51am

Cheers to all the bands! It was a fantastic show!

Vincat - Really liked the new stuff aswell as the old. I really liked the dynamics of the horn players, but poor Olivia, you could hardly hear her at all.

Fun 100 - Oh man, "soooo good!" Ebert and the other guy. This band rocked my socks off then came back the rock off. I really liked them. It was like 80's Blondie and 70's Ramones.

Away,Rio! - The only reason I don't think they worked so well at this show was because the other bands played much faster, and more upbeat songs. I really liked AR a lot, but they would have done better at a show with slower bands playing. Really good technical stuff.

The Feminists - I really REALLY dug this guys, and gal. I thought they had a really unique sound by blending pretty basic things together. I thought they were catchy as heck and I would love to see them again.

Immaculate Machine - I really liked the new songs. Many of them sort of had a surf feel to them. I also liked how they just sped up lots of the older stuff, they sounded great, as usual. - Sun, 3 Jul 2005 8:13am

We would like to extend thanks to Joey for having this show, and also to Max, Bethany, and Olivia for playing with us.

Fun 100-fun 100 are totally 100% awesome except they were way to fucking loud. Not like their music, just the actual sound in the gary oak room was blowing my eardrums out.

Away R'io-Away R'io were really really good, beautiful music. Its too bad they couldn't play longer. Thank you again for hosting this wonderful show.

The Feminists-This band was really tight and professional sounding. Again the sound was pretty loud for their set and I had a bit of trouble figuring out what was going on but I liked their music alot.

Immaculate Machine-We will miss you when you are famous!!!

I got a few pictures...

If you want me to send them your way, shoot me an email ([email protected]) because otherwise I will probably forget and not get around to sending them to anyone!

All in all, this show was cool. I was standing behind tall people for most of Vincat so I didn't get to see too much of them. Fun 100 were wild. Away, R'io! were kind of a nice change from the more upbeat bands on the bill. The Feminists were enjoyable as well; they reminded me of Superchunk, especially their singer. And Immaculate Machine was awesome, but that just goes without saying.

Thanks to Joey for putting the show on and to everyone who helped out - it was a great night! - Mon, 4 Jul 2005 8:12am
