Will User Info... | Had a great time playing Steamers Wednesday night. I must admit I was hugely impressed by Heart Carried Heavy, really interesting punkish rock that had alot of interesting time changes. They reminded me of alot of different bands. fugazi/Propaghandi/Sparkmarker/Sunny Day Real Estate come to mind. Coolest new hard-rock band in Vic imo. The singer was reaching for sure but when he hit it you could tell what was intended. Faces of Black were second I thought they did a great job...definitely riff-oriented Sabbath-like stuff. I would enjoy them more on a bill with a bunch of heavier stuff and I will check them out again. I want to thank Dave of HCH for getting us the show. I can't remember our set, too much Jags hehe. We saw somebody filming the show...would love to know who that is. email us @ [email protected] - Thu, 23 Jun 2005 5:38pm
matteus User Info... | That would be me. i got a short clip of you guys cuz my battery died. i am processing soon and will get back to you. [email protected] will post it on my site for ya along with the others. http://www.hybridproductions.net Heart Carried heavy were FUCKING SWEET! I haven't seen something like that in SO long. After they were done I was informed they're only playing a couple more shows and that's it. WHY!? The HUMANITY!!! Faces of Black. Would have like to have seen you guys let loose, but I don't think the crowd could have handled that kind of intensity. Can't wait to work with you guys (and gal) Where's Veronica? I got a CD of you guys froma friend. But IMO it did no justice to seeing you guys live. It was a real treat. Be nice to work with you guys sometime... All and all. Great show. - Fri, 24 Jun 2005 11:08am
Will User Info... | That's sweet! looking forward to check it out Matteus. That CD you got is a really old home-job demo. We actually just cut a professional full-length at Woodshop Studios and we all feel it is more indicative of our live sound. Its off to get mastered asap! thanks for coming out to the show, and your networking party is a great idea. - Fri, 24 Jun 2005 11:45am
J User Info... | H.C.H are a fucking great band... they have a demo recorded with adam sutherland that is really sweet. They've been around alot longer than you would think, they just had a hiatus cause of people moving away and coming back. Sux that they aren't going to be playing a ton of shows but if you ask them nicely im sure pat geoff or dave would be more than happy to sell/give you one(trust me its worth the troubles of getting it...) - Sat, 25 Jun 2005 9:11am
