Sati User Info... | There's a whole afternoon of free performances etc in Granview Park today and workshops tomorrow. There's a compilation cd available for $5 too. I caught the opening night at Sonar, and it was pretty cool, really packed. They had MAWO and other message banners covering every beer logo and neon crap in the place and there wasn't any sponsor shit up anywhere messing with their message either. Impressive in a place like Sonar. The people I came with couldn't take the music, but I got into Ndidi Cascade.. charisma and rhythm. There were a couple of speakers between acts, and the crowd talked through it which pissed me off. I'd like someone to just stop and yell at them to listen up since thats what the whole fest is about! Check out the link and find out what they're about: http://mawovancouver.org - Sat, 11 Jun 2005 8:31am | ||
