Ministry of Casual Living Fundraiser: at long last the bitter and sometimes bloody feud between the ministry of casual living and the fifty fifty arts collective has come to an end. Victoria's indie pop faves, The Raygun have generously donated their time. Dante Decaro fresh from montreal brings his raw folk sounds to the space. Sometimes Hank & Lilly contributors Meatdraw arrive thawed not frozen. also, The Best aka The Greatest Ever, fronted by the ministry's own mascot, Furtado, who may or may not bestow upon us a sample of his much talked about dancing. other bands to be added soon. check back for details. - Wed, 8 Jun 2005 1:23pm | ||
| knobgobbler User Info... | Hmmm, really sorry I can't make it, but I (along with the rest of the cool cats of Vic) are going to see a little band you may or may not have heard of called KING BONG at a modest little place called STEAMERS PUB. King Bong are so much awesomer than anyone who's ever played at the fifty-fifty. Their lyrics are smart and topical and their harmonies rule, and they rock my world. I'd like to see Dante DeCaro and Sticky Kola from King Bong get into a fistfight... wonder who'd win? Not!
