| Matt User Info... | Rap music is sweet but I'd never seen it live before. I have never seen so much smoke in my life. The Game was first, he was super energetic and did a great job of warming up the crowd. He didn't play anything that was not from his album, except for a verse over top of California Love. It took an hour and a half to get Snoop Dogg onstage. Fights started breaking out in the restless, fucked up crowd, and all I could think about was what happened when Axl didn't show up a couple of years back. But Snoop DID show up. He was fun, played pretty much every hit he's ever done, including lots of songs that he's a guest on. Things started to get a little repetitive: I'd already seen cell phones and lighters go up in The Game's set, we'd already paid tribute to Tupac with The Game, we'd seen dancers and explosions and heard hits... so we left a little early. But damn... you could not see the top couple of rows in the coliseum for all of that smoke. - Mon, 30 May 2005 5:12pm | ||
