White eagle hall is a pretty good venue, Nice stage. Set up with the most lights and sound seen at ANY local shows... That was one kick ass drum riser... - Mon, 30 May 2005 10:32am

Thanks a ton Wolf. Guess what! We're doing it all over again, Friday June 17th, same great venue, same great production. With the "Thank God it's Over" show, we intend to show all those who missed it the first time just what the Creek are all about. Stay tuned as we announce our guests and ticket availability. - Mon, 30 May 2005 11:29am

That was a great show. Awesome stage and lighting and sound, like Wolf said, I haven't seen lighting/sound that good at any other local show. Everyone there was really friendly and White Eagle Hall is one of the nicer all ages venues on town. Definitely worth the $7.

Pushing Up Daisies - Not their best set, but I did get a good view of the awesome musicianship going on on stage. The guitarists and bass know how to write some really cool, catchy riffs, Scott is an excellent drummer, and Jack can really wail. Also they gave out so many CDs and shirts. I heard that this was their last show...? Hoping it isn't. PUD have become one of the bigger bands in the all ages scene nowadays and have some really rad tunes.

Armchair Cynics - I missed most of their set but they sounded pretty professional. Didn't like the vocals that much, though.

Stone Creek - My first time seeing them, they're a really cool classic rock band. Great stage presence and crowd interaction and some awesome music. I think I'll be going to that June 17th show.

Thanks to the guys who held this, it was a ton of fun.

Great Show. P.U.D were excellent. The water bottle to the face routine by the singer wasnt the coolest. Still, i wish i was half as good as they are at that age.

Armchair Cynics. My favorite local band. Very professional. How anyone can say that the vocals werent good, i dont know. The vocals/frontman IS Armchair Cynics.

Stone Creek. Was i shopping at LandM? Great Rock band with great pressence and kick ass sound. Was that their first show?

So Pushing Up Daisys? Was that your last show? - Mon, 30 May 2005 6:48pm

Thanks again to everyone who came out, what a great crowd! We were so happy, as were the hall owners, that we have decided to do it again. Mark June 17th as the day! Just in time for the last day of classes, WHAWA? Sound and Stone Creek present "Thank God it's Over!". Tickets will go on sale Friday June 3rd at Lyle's Place, Long and McQuade, or order by e-mail at [email protected]. We'll let you know as soon as we pin down our guests. In the meantime all those who look old enough can catch the Creek rocking at Steamers on Thursday June 2nd. Come early and check out Seven Year Old Poets. - Wed, 1 Jun 2005 8:10pm
