| Wheate User Info... | If anyone of you, and I do mean YOU, have yet to hear the whiskey soaked brilliance that is Murder By Death, than shame on you. But, there is way to atone for your sins. Come to Diegos bar, which is right above the Red Lion, on June 7th and witness one of the most truly original bands to have come my way in quite some time. Murder By Death play a style of music that would ride alongside any B-Side western in which a small town is over-run by man eating ghouls and skin melting parasites. No really. These guys are fucking weird. Although the music and lyrics tend to lean towards the bleak side, the experience itself is very accsesible and can be enjoyed by a wide audience (My girlfriend is a mad MBD fiend). So to anyone who reads this, dont pass this one by, we need to support these type of acts rolling through Victoria, because without them all we are left with is Def Leppard, April Wine, and Ron Jeremy.......So come out and raise a stink!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | Aaargh! User Info... | There may be a venue change in effect as of this evening, though we will keep the lot of you (whom ever that is) posted. Though I'm entirely unsure as to how many Against Me! fans there are about these parts, they are probably one of the more energetic, positive anarcho bands you will ever see live. They headlined Bumbershoot's punk stage this last year & my god, what an amazing spectacle it was. User Info... | It's a shame that people aren't as knowledgeable about Against Me!, because they are honestly one of the better bands that are coming through town this year, definately the best anarcho band due. I have to say that I was actually excited to see this poster when this shwo was announced as MBD has had some rad posters. | for the love of User Info... | AGAINST ME! this is exciting, even though it is not an all ages show. i will go see any band who prides itself on its singalongs. seriously, it is a crazy phenomenon to see this band & crowd in a city that knows them (any american city, really). i hope victoria will love it too. - Tue, 7 Jun 2005 9:58am | ||
