Anders Friden was at this gig? What exactly was he doing there? I thought he was busy with the new album? I must be missing something here. - Mon, 16 May 2005 6:53pm

I must have inhaled too much second hand Meth and Crack in the big City...Vancouver, where every one drives SUV's and the homeless have SUV Sized shopping carts..lol

A)In Flames was not there...The band I refered too was Misery Signals

B)The Two Bands nmaes I remember perfectly... THE AGONY SCENE, STRAPPING had BANNERS ...I got Misery Signals name off their flash pots..

C)Opening band was a last minute substitution....I thought Savannah was that band with the shredding black guitarist, he wasn't in this band...

I kinda felt that strapping could have done a little better than what they performed. Don't get me wrong, they still were unreal, but, devin missed some of the high notes and some parts alltogether and some of the drumming was a little off, and there was way too much click on the bass drum. The sound at some points was a little mushy, but that could be due to bad mixing.
But i still enjoyed the show quite a bit and it was worth the trip over to the big city. - Mon, 16 May 2005 9:51pm

Reflux has the shredder. Mr Ibanez Universe (die Jeff!)

Savannah were supposed to open Victoria but ML7 chose to as it was the first show, new members, and we wanted the sound check. If only the opening band from Vic had been there, Ive always wanted to play the Commodore! :P

Misery Signals were the band that didnt come to Victoria whom ML7 stepped in for, and Savannah were replacing Agony Scene.

But hey Wolf, by your calculations thats 5 bands who played in Van that night? - Tue, 17 May 2005 10:06am
