| hunterxACPC User Info... | I noticed way more drunk kids than usual, but not as many serious problems Modern Day Fire - you guys were way better then I expected... and call me crazy but I swear that last song had a slight resembelence to some BOLD songs I wasnt around for 30 days Eight Bit Dream - I caught about half the set aand enjoyed it as usual, that minor threat cover will never go out of style Temper - Lets get married, that Madball cover was amazing and everyone sang along for the whole song All in all I enjoyed the music but didnt enjoy the drunk atmosphere that much - Sun, 8 May 2005 12:21am | ||
| Up_To_Eleven User Info... | Agreed with the drunk kids, dunno what was up with it, but as you said wasnt a prob, so sok Modern day fire- well im not gonna say anything about them, im the singer so... 30 days- everytime i see them im amazed at how good the drumer is even while he sings, its wicked, good band. Eight bit- Good stuff, some good breakdown type things, with the odd thrash, i like, i like temper- only got half their set, but i was in love. | leslie. User Info... | Modern Day Fire- SO MUCH BETTER THAN CTD. better than I expected. 30days- I've seen these guys play twice, the drummer is intense good but not really my thing. Eight bit Dream- great engery, and I'm surprised how young these guys are. Temper- BESTBAND of the night, would like to see these guys play more. | Mr. Chkrlc User Info... |  Modern Day Fire - I was really impressed by these guys, had some really rad parts and breaks, well done, great first show. 30 Days - Really had fun watching them, I think half the reason I like them alot is the drum/sing thing, super rad. Eight Bit Dream - I'm in it, thought we palyed ok, last song and rather be dead i was outa tune for though. Temper - Amazing, some really rad originals, and SUPER rad covers. | Tambo User Info... | I think the reason that there was so many drunk kids is that there were alot of people from my school there... And they just want to have a good time, so need to get drunk... I ended up having to take my friend to my house via bus, but it ended up being okay. There were almost no problems with drunk kids though, they mostly kept to themselves, I was impressed. Hopefully there weren't too many problems, Brian. Modern Day Fire - This is exactly the kind of music I love most. I think they played really well for their first show, the backup vocals could have been louder, but that's okay. I can't wait to see what they do with time. 30 Days - Again, incredibly impressed by Jodi's brother on drums/singing... Apparently he's actually a guitarist though, and he's better at bass than Jodi. The rest of the band is awesome too, but I enjoyed the set. 8 Bit Dream - Leo is insane... The chunks of flesh on the guitar was the worst. Pretty much the picture he posted is one of the best things I've ever seen. They played well, but would have liked to hear more backup vocals from Leo. Temper - These guys were sick. Plain and simple. I didn't really know the words to the madball cover, but that's okay. Moshtastic. Can't wait until they get a bassist. | Brian VIHC User Info... | I'm on Mike's computer right now so I'll keep it short. Show went well, paid everybody, even made back money for the PA payments for once. The crowd was great. The only lame thing about the evening was dealing with the drunk idiot hanging around outside who tried to climb the baseball diamond fence and then jumped off the concession stand out back and fell flat onto the concrete. If he shows up again I doubt I'll be as eager to keep as many people from beating the tar out of him as seemingly wanted to.
