| Vegas J User Info... | What a different a venue & Adam the Lucky soundguy makes! Holy Toledo! Killing Flaw finally sounded like what Killing Flaw is SUPPOSED to sound like..big, heavy, cool, thick, aggressive, just like a wave of sound that hits you & feels great! Also, Princess was just hitting the notes with such power and vocal chops that I've never heard her do before, probably because she hadn't had good moniter mixes previously...cause last night she RULED!! I was grinning ear-to-ear & Wolfy, Duke and I were all just diggin' it! Dru-the-new-guy really added to the stage presence (he plays keys, runs the sequences and does overdub percussion) and did a fantastic job! Nice going buddy and great to meet you! Kyle-the-other-not-so-new-guy played some great chops and really powered the sound...especially since he was properly in the mix so we could hear that Orange ( so cool!!)amp do it's thing...and Dave, the new material you're writing is heading you into some radio-friendly territory that will soon make Killing Flaw a household name! (IMHO) Keep that up! CR Avery is just something else all together. he avoided the "sensitive" topics he sometimes gets into as it was a short set, but just stunned everyone! What this guy can do literally defies description..I quote Duke.."this guy has created his own medium"...so very true..Helon wheels, Dru, and a host of others just stood there amazed..wow! The Hermit had the un-enviable task of following these two bands, but they played their very accessible brand of neo-folk / lush pop flawlessly and had the crowd entertained. Very pretty lead singer guitar player reminded me a bit of Suzanna Hoffs from the Bangles, and did a good job. That band really didn't engage the audience or say more than the occasional quiet "thank you", they just came to play and that's just what they did. They had visuals of nice pretty things, but hey, they didn't have Scotty from Oilyfilms and his amazing work so it was just OK (..but..well, hey I'm biased! ) Anyways, Cheers to all and it was truly one of the best musical nights in recent memory!
