actually, the bands had only 8 hours to come up with their sets. very impressive given the tight sets we were offered. look for the next incarnation of rock lottery to take place at the fifty fifty sometime next year. - Mon, 2 May 2005 3:53am

well,
i had a great time at the show. I loved how everyone was
F-ing insane, there were many times where i could do nothing but shake my head in amazement. The girl and her swearing, the guy and his belly, the pop rock player, the pirate girl, the tin foil, ah, twas a good day indeed.
not to mention, some of the songs were so F-ing catchy! The kind of songs that make musicians say, i wish i F-ing wrote that. The second to last band, the last song they played was F-ing good. and uh, planetsphere or whatever the heck your band was called kris, the second song was rad sweet wicked dope, i was bobbing my head and shaking my tail feather like a virgin at a rolling stones concert.
like i said before, i think we should do a cover of it.
it was just so sweet and tastey, i love great pop songs so F-ing much.
anyways, WHO WAS THE GIRL VIDEO TAPING THE SHOW? i want a copy so i can rip off all the songs i liked. ha...ha...ha. no i am only joking, but i want to show like 18 trillion people it because it rocked so hecka much.
alright,
peace out dawgs.

This was one of the most unique events I've ever participated in - it was really cool to try to work with people in different genres and with different ways of approaching music - a lot of our break time during practise was spent talking about this.

The show was so damn fun - the audience was super receptive and generous, and even gave the last band an encore! - Mon, 2 May 2005 10:38am

I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a copy of that tape as well. I couldn't make it down but I was totally interested in checking out the results. - Mon, 2 May 2005 6:38pm
