| stringbender User Info... | I have checked out both tunes. The world beat one is not too bad, and I will compliment your flute playing, I can't play that instrument. The Nashville Mix is hardly country though, except for the lyrics. Not a bad tune in and of itself, but it doesn't say "country" to me at all. Engineered differently and moixed differently it might get closer, but way way too much reverb on vox, acoustic guitar sits way too low in the mix and needs to be a lot brighter, stereo mic'ed at least. If it is gonna be "country" you have to get some twang into it. Sounds more like a new-age folk the way it sits now. And KILL that vocal reverb. Way over the top. There's my constructive criticism. But I would honestly suggest a tad more humility in your approach. You don't suck, neither do you rule. Juno's? I rushed the tunes on here before they were finished (no bass or drums) and truth is I could use the help of a qualified sound man. Roan Sound is up for the mix on THE CALLING but it seems to take forever and a day to get anything done there so I do it myself. If you do audio I could ues the help.
