fubarred User Info... | Well all i gotta say is I showed up because I heard about a month ago from Pepper there was some KICK ASS rock happening from one of my favorite bands. Turns out they gotta booted off the show and i never found out, so i never got too see them play. So BOOOOOOOOOO for not letting Kickback play (word is they even booked the only good bands on the show too so double BOOOO for weezin their hard work). Stupid move too since they would've double the crowd size. But whatever i'll see them on the 30th at the Garage anyways. OK so here's what i think of who did play. Yclept - Wha??? i dont get it.. the MC said they ruled.. i musta been somewhere else Last To Leave - One of the good bands. Super impressed with everything (even though it was impossible to hear through the ass mix from the soundguy). AWESOME melodies. PLaying off the stage was instrumental in gettin the crowd into the show. Would love to see these guys back in Duncan or anywhere for that matter. Cipher - No idea why they played 3rd. Would've been ok earlier in the night, possibly opening. But they where outshined by Last to Leave. I'll give them props for trying hard, just need more practice and a lesson in guitar tone. Dead City Radio (or Dead Radio City as the posters said.. DUMBASSES) - Can you say rocknroll charisma? well if you can you better fuckin pronounce it Dead City Radio. Dont see much GnR or STP inspired rock anymore, but these guys got it! and good might i add. They sounded huge until the soundguy fucked with sound around the 3rd song and changed it to suck. $8 would've been super expensive if it wasnt for the redeeming performances of Last to Leave and Dead City Radio. The sound sucked the more you listened to the PA, so being up close was essential. Overall minus the 2 good bands the show gets a F--. Ya 2 minuses! Last to Leave and Dead City Radio get an A+ wish i had've seen that fifth band though.. - Sat, 23 Apr 2005 2:48pm

matteus User Info... | Sorry about the bill change James, these things happen. But being such a kickback fan and a lover of the rock fury, I have their last show at the Victoria event center on the website: http://www.hybridproductions.net I think that all the bands played well, some had a few snags, that's all. We're working on the tech end of things, but for our third show, I'd like to think we did well. - Wed, 27 Apr 2005 2:10am
