Ok, tis my goal to not post anything too off-topic here. Y'all can do what you want.

The Proles, as always, make me happy. No matter what happens on stage, you lads fuckin' rock.

Yeknob, I heard from outside cuz I was so drunk that the beer drinking seemed more important at the time. I regret those drunken sentiments as this is the second time this week I missed Yeknob cuz I was drunk.

Switchblade Valentines kicked so much ass. I was dancing! A band that makes me dance is good people. That being said, I only skanked a little... don't ask. But I'd be pleased to hear these guys again anytime. Highlight for me.

Borderguards... most of the time I was outside-drunk again. They were good though, what I heard sounded wicked.

Lancasters, thank you fer the unity songs, and oity toity bibble fabble. Right then, I need to un-hangover meself und I think I have a beer in the fridge.

I apologize fer my shitty reviews. I really wasn't all there last night. Sorta passing out to the side through most of the lancasters. Later.

Good show, Switchblade valentines, best show I have seen them play. The Bordergaurds.... they really neded to turn the amps down it came across as a wall of noise, which was too bad I was looking forward to seeing them. The Lancasters, they fucking rocked. I missed the two opening bands but there will always be next time. The crowd was cool, a room full of rock a billy greasers, punks sporting the leathers and mohawks and skinheads....with not one nazi fuck in the room. Gotta love when you can get a room full of bald guys together and have no racism.... No real fights that I could see either, the pit was a fucking warzone but with that much testosterone and that many little cliques it's not a suprise. The only hard punch I saw thrown was by a little girl and she smoked this guy right in the head I almost peed my pants I started laughing so hard. I will just throw one out to the skins in the room..... there was one in particular that I couldnt help think looked more like a cartoon than a skinhead..... lets see if you guys can guess which one... - Sat, 2 Apr 2005 11:07am

That was a gnar show. It seemed everyone was having a good time. Proles played the worst set ever. Yeknob seemed to improve from monday night. The lancasters new stuff was just as good as their old stuff although i didnt see the point of their line up change. Thanks Jeff and friends for all the hardwork. - Mon, 4 Apr 2005 10:24am

it was the worst proles set ever... 'cept maybe the talent show a couple years ago at esquimalt. but honestly 'twasn't really any of yer faults. technical difficulties und short time given und a temporary guitar that wasn't tuned. i still say ya rocked. - Mon, 4 Apr 2005 11:03am

I thought the line up change for the Lancasters was a great idea. New guitarist Jay did a good job (his solos sounded surprisingly close to Greg's) and the band seemed much more active and had a better stage presence with Greg handling just the vocals. Good times. Too bad the vocals couldn't be heard for the Borderguards. Good band, bad sound. Seven cops in the Tim Hortons between Duncan and Ladysmith on the way home. Seven!!! - Thu, 7 Apr 2005 12:00pm
