Suffuckation User Info... | Throne of ashes wasn't that great, when I go to see a show I don't need to be told to go to vote. S.I.C.K. had their moments, and I left before Mito 'cause I was tanked and tired but they always kick ass so I knew what to expect. Everybody wang chung that night. - Sun, 27 Mar 2005 12:30am

SickFuk User Info... | That was one brutal show... Throne of Ashes kicked ass starting it off, I love their Sludge/grind guitar sound.... S.I.C.K.... well, I am sick.. so no point in reviewing myself..... Mito were wicked, thats only the second time I've sen them, and they were awesome both times.... I especially loved coming on stage, when I was pissed out of my mind, and doing "Stripped, Raped and Strangled with them.... that ruled Thanx again to all the bands, and all the crowd for making another one of the Tolmie Ragers fly - Sun, 27 Mar 2005 12:58pm

Mordock.the.Benzite User Info... | Pretty sweet show....couple of stellar mosh artists in the crowd.... This was the most enjoyable set I've seen Throne of Ashes do thus far....noticed more doom on their sound than before. Was outside enjoying rambling sci-fi/music conversations so pretty much missed all of SICK. Mito was great as per usual....fucking so stoked that they did the Organsplatter and Anti-Evangelist songs. - Sun, 27 Mar 2005 5:53pm

Tragedy User Info... | And kinda off topic, this guy is my fucking hero. That's real blood. That was a different show though. Thanks again to Flee and S.I.C.K. - Mon, 28 Mar 2005 12:37am
Akylore User Info... | This show kicked ass. I can definitely hear the Bolt Thrower influence in "Throne of Ashes," although they are much sludgier/doomier. I'm still a little partial to "The 4th Crusade," so I enjoyed their set. Yeah sure he might've mentioned voting (which I actually didn't mind because I'm actually doing my part to see that no fundamentalist christians get in power,) but I definitely heard his opinion about starting shit at a venue when those 2 guys starting going at it. It is disappointing to see these so-called metalheads starting locker-room bullshit at a venue and trashing it so that no-one can rent the venue anymore. Fuck the last 2 shows we booked got shit busted becasue of that shit...but ah, I digress, back to the review! SICK was fucking great man. We've played with this gong-show 2 times already and they do not disappoint. That new track (Martyr-Human-Arch, I think?) was pretty rad! Mitochondrion has come a long way since their first show last Feb 2004 at the James Bay Community Centre, I have to admit I never expected them to drive the crowd like they did last night. Congrads! Looking forward to the recording! - Mon, 28 Mar 2005 1:52am
ML7Mike User Info... | Is that Noel singing for TOA? Kinda looks like him in the pic. - Mon, 28 Mar 2005 10:01am
Mister Luke User Info... | Yep, that's Noel. Thanks to everybody who came out. We had a blast as we always do at the Tolmie house, and thanks to Margot from Ungoliant for the guest vocals on Famine. SICK fucking ripped (I agree with Akylore about the new one - Modern Human Art - that double bass breakdown fucking kills, Shane). The Mito - if they suck, then we must be really bad. Like really, really bad. It's hard to make stuff that fast groove like you do. Also, it's really hard to pull off wearing baby blue bunny ears. Kudos. - Mon, 28 Mar 2005 10:32am
XY-SATAN User Info... | Great shin dig , thanks Sickfuk for having my lady and I over ! .....and thanks for letting my lady in after she forgot our booze back at your house , she said when she went down to the basement to retrieve it ,it was like a scene out of dawn of the dead with people trying to claw their way out of the basement door who were locked in ,too funny! - Mon, 28 Mar 2005 3:21pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | Ya know, everytime I see the last photo that Tragedy posted it freaks me out, go figure. - Mon, 28 Mar 2005 8:42pm
I Kissed Lucia User Info... | I like how the pit mostly consisted of the same four people for more then half the show haha and I like how I was one of those four people, and I've got an angry face in every picture haha "NO ONE SMILE, THIS IS BLACK METAL" -Marcus, when Mito came on - Mon, 28 Mar 2005 9:02pm
Marc User Info... | Actually it was Shawn from mito that first introduced the saying "NO ONE SMILE, THIS IS BLACK METAL" it was at the Halloween show, with Grimlorn was playing. Just to clarify who actually started it :P - Mon, 28 Mar 2005 9:22pm
Tragedy User Info... | Griphin that was from the last Dayglo's show at Lucky, I followed that kid outside, totally enthralled. Go figure, the mosh pit consisted mainly of us Sooke skids... And Paul, I'm still waiting for my Gwar pictures. - Mon, 28 Mar 2005 10:30pm
Spinvis User Info... | Only got to check out TOA. Great set, saw them before at Logans when Noel was ill, so it was nice to see a full set of him on vox this time. Looking forward to seeing them on Saturday's show with Iskra and the horde. woot! - Tue, 29 Mar 2005 1:18pm
