Self Inflicted: enjoyable as always, nothing about them really stuck out since the last time I saw them. Lose None: These guys were soo good!! and they had nice hats too and the guys were really nice. Togh As Nails: It was so nice, havent seen them in ages and they sounded really good! - Sun, 20 Mar 2005 12:15am
Brian VIHC User Info... | Yes the show went very well despite the ridiculous problems Lose None have had today. Hopefully what we paid them will cover the repairs to their van. I had a lot of fun, and thanks everyone for not ruining my birthday. ha ha Especially thanks to Tough As Nails for making me forget what a heart-attack inducing day it's been for me. - Sun, 20 Mar 2005 12:43am

D ROC User Info... | playing 2 sets in one night sucked big time - Sun, 20 Mar 2005 2:38pm
hunter User Info... | it's not ready yet, and all i did was bring the camera - Sun, 20 Mar 2005 2:39pm
Tyler User Info... | http://www.ofoto.com/BrowsePhotos.jsp?collid=39375017307&UV=77116732682_93852017307 There are all the pics I uploaded Fucking rad show and everything went so smoothly, no drunk kids and no fighting. Friday Night Murder: I'd say they weren't completely my style but I still liked them and would like to see them again for sure. Temper: They were really great... if I had any complaints, it'd be about the levels. I didn't hear the vocals like.. at all.. which was disappointing because they sounded really really good from what I did hear. Homefront cover was great, lots of energy for that, wish people moved around more for temper. I hope play some more shows soon. Self Inflicted: Good as always. Lose None: Sooo great, I loved them. Really heavy hardcore style that I definetely liked, insane amounts of breakdowns. And really nice people. Togh As Nails: Had so much energy. I love the new songs and Jodi did great. Except you guys COULD have played more... Jodi -so- knows more of the older songs. Hahaha. VIC pile-on and things were torn up. Amazing ending to the night - Sun, 20 Mar 2005 4:06pm
Tambo User Info... | Some good photos. Anywoot, review! All in all, the show was awesome, my first since I've been back, so like in 9 months... I forgot how good it feels to be in so much pain afterwards. The bands... Friday Night Murder - They were really good, but I wasn't ready to get into them... I don't know... Temper - These guys were great! But I do agree the vocals should have been louder, but the set was pretty tight. I'd DEFINATELY want to check them out again. Self Inflicted - Good post-hardcore, but not really my thing. Had a few good moshes. The "Girls in the pit" ended up being a joke. Lose None - Oh man, frickin' awesome! I got a Lose None shirt, the white one because EVERYBODY got the black one, but if these guys ever come back, I'm going no matter what. Totally thug, and really awesome guys. Tough As Nails - The new lineup was really tight, I really like it. After hearing these guys a few more times I'm sure that everybody will be piling on for every song. VIC has to be my favorite song pretty much ever. A great ending to the night. All in all, a wicked show. No drunks, and no brahmin moshers so we got to dance the night away. Tons 'o' fun. Can't wait til' the next show. Happy Birthday again Brian! Or is it David? ;) - Sun, 20 Mar 2005 4:13pm
hunter User Info... | the bassist from lose none was a super cool guy! - Sun, 20 Mar 2005 4:42pm
mike User Info... | wow awesome show, friday night murder had an interesting style and i was surprised that dax managed to play two sets of drums and mosh, without puking. all of us in temper had a good time and were pleased to see the kids move around, and it was awesome to see people go nuts for the homefront cover. self inflicted ripped it up as usual. lose none was awesome too, cool guys, good music, bad luck, hope they got some funds for their van. i was really dissapointed that i couldn't get mosh for tough as nails, i know that they slayed, but my leg was fucked. - Sun, 20 Mar 2005 4:57pm
Brian VIHC User Info... | Hunter, Tyler, Joe...it's "I", not "Y" But thanks for the birthday wishes. Tambo, SI isn't post-hardcore, they're hardcore with a very metal style influence. Post-hardcore is what happens to former hardcore kids who want to play 80's style new-wave rock and add a keyboard to their band. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I drove Lose None back to Nanaimo, everything was cool, their van was getting repaired as I was on my way back to Vic, so hopefully they made it to Olympia on time. - Sun, 20 Mar 2005 5:34pm
Joe User Info... | sorry brian thanks again for the hoddy could i get your e-mail by chance? - Sun, 20 Mar 2005 5:48pm
hunter User Info... | my bad brian... I thought I used a I, but at least I didnt call you dave - Sun, 20 Mar 2005 5:56pm
morgan User Info... | yes happy birthday brian and thanks for putting on another rad show. i had an awesome time. - Sun, 20 Mar 2005 6:14pm
Criss Crass User Info... | Thanks to Brian once again. Happy Birthday as well. What can I say I thought the show was pretty awesome. All the bands did really well. Good to see TAN back hitting hard. The only thing that I thought sucked was the "Girls In the Pit" thing for the Absolute Underground they asked me to promote. I have much respect for the girls who do come out and support our scene but lastnight I couldn't believe the way all the girls ran away as soon as I mentioned pictures. Totally lame! I must give credit to the three girls (even though they looked terrified) who stayed on the floor during that song and Claire for throwing down throughout the nite. Good to hear that Lose None got their van situation remedied thanks to all who came out. - Sun, 20 Mar 2005 7:12pm
Tyler User Info... | yeah they did look terrified also, did anyone else take pics? Temper was looking for pics to build their site. If any bands want full sized pics bigger than on that site, I can email them or send them over msn. - Sun, 20 Mar 2005 7:55pm
Joe User Info... | or they can become members on your site it takes like 10 seconds - Sun, 20 Mar 2005 11:07pm
leslie. User Info... | Sorry to hear about the van. and jodi did look damn good jamming in tough as nails. - Mon, 21 Mar 2005 2:26am
Brian VIHC User Info... | Oh, and I want to add that for the first time ever no one tried to sneak in, no one complained about the price, no one tried to make a fake stamp on their hand and get in with it, no one pulled the "I'm only here to see one band, do I have to pay?", and even the drinkers were discreet and not trying to attract attention to themselves. That's all I want. So thanks! - Tue, 22 Mar 2005 11:49pm
Tambo User Info... | I too noticed that there was like no drunk kids, no trouble makers and no brahmin moshers so us hardcore kids were free to dance the night away. It was magnificent, pretty much all I could ask for from a show. I'm glad it's going well for you Brian, and I hope it keeps up. - Wed, 23 Mar 2005 9:43am
jay brown User Info... | damnit I am going to have to start paying all the crusty street kids cab fare to Brian's shows...the message board is so much more interesting when they show up hammered and do stupid stuff......... - Wed, 23 Mar 2005 10:42am
hunter User Info... | keep it posi - Wed, 23 Mar 2005 11:27am
Face! User Info... | I'm a newbie. What's a brahmin mosher? - Wed, 23 Mar 2005 12:11pm
hunter User Info... | i'm guessing tambo is refering to people just running and bashing into each other - Wed, 23 Mar 2005 12:55pm
Brian VIHC User Info... | I don't care about old school slamdance moshing, that shit is cool, what I dislike is nu-metal dumbasses full-tilt shoulder checking into bystanders who can't see them coming. Which is different than a big crowd pleaser jump into the crowd with your arms stretched out. The kids with foot-high mohawks need to bring back the sweet pogo mosh. ha ha - Wed, 23 Mar 2005 4:34pm
Joe User Info... | ahah good stuff briann the pogo is where it is at i think i will bring it back - Wed, 23 Mar 2005 5:06pm
Tambo User Info... | I'm definately with Brian. It's a shame that room was too big for crowd pleasers... There's nothing more fun. That's why I like the other room in JBCC, it's small and perfect for that crap. - Wed, 23 Mar 2005 5:42pm
ebony User Info... | brian i confess sometimes i go to your shows absolutly sloshed out of my mind and i can still talk and walk and not break windows and nobody can tell. it was such a good show!! i donated money to the band, my last moneys. that sucks that they had to pay so much for a cab here. im so glad the shows are starting up again i was starting to go crazy over the winter - Thu, 24 Mar 2005 8:10pm
raygun User Info... | If anybody's interested....I've uploaded a quicktime video of part of Friday Night Murder's set to my website. http://tyson.yerex.ca FYI, I'm looking for more bands who are interested in getting a cheap live video made. I'm charging $25 for 2 camera angles of your band's performance (max 60 minutes) edited onto a DVD (or VHS) with sound recorded either with a stereo pair of mics or through the soundboard at the venue. For an additional cost, I can also offer multitracking of the audio (ie. record all the mics from the show onto separate tracks so a better sounding mix can be created) using my 24 track digital hard disk recorded (venue permitting).
