| cooper User Info... | Unfortunately I didn't catch the first two bands because I was stuck at work, but I stepped in the door just as Maurice took the stage. Gaddammit I love this band! Stage presence keeps improving, thanks in large part to Simon who did a superb job tonight on keys (good save on Connor's crash cymbal!). The energy level in the place really grew nicely throughout the set and just climaxed with JP and the crowd screaming "and I wanna break free from it!!!". 'Twas a kind birthday salute to Adam too. Amazing job guys, can't wait to see another show. Oh, and I know you mentioned that you have no album to plug, but I know that recordings in one form or another exist, and I am pleading with you, please please please hand 'em over!!! - Thu, 10 Mar 2005 2:25am | ||
| Haden User Info... | Saul was a bit weird to be on this bill. Not my cup o tea. Where's Veronica? once again made my night. Last time I saw them was at the Lucky show back in December and the boys have definately practiced and tighened up their set. And the sound was great. It's not very often I pull out my earplugs at a bar show for fear of pain, but the sound was so that I could, and it was a nice treat. I look forward to an album coming out this year....I hope. :P My energy level then fell and I departed for home. I did catch the first tune of Maurice's. Definately poppier than I was expecting from what people have told me. I'll have to catch a full show next time. - Thu, 10 Mar 2005 9:41am | ||
