| cooper User Info... | This was the Zone's Band of the Month showcase at Steamer's. First off let me say congrats to all 3 bands. The energy in that place was awesome. First up was Maurice, and once again they did not disappoint. Their sound was perfectly balanced and full, backed by Connor's impressive skills on the kit. Backup vocals were much improved from the last time I saw them at Lucky. Great job guys. (please please pleeeeaaase let us have some full recordings to listen to! Heck, I'll even pay for it!) Next up was headliner Morning Call. As you may have heard, these guys just signed with US label Drive-Thru Records and are about to embark on a tour of the US. These guys impressed the hell out of me. You could tell that they've been rehearsing like mad, as their sound was very tight and balanced. Lead singer is a great frontman and really got the crowd going. Next time I see them, it better be on a bigger stage! Last up was Kincaide. First time I've seen them live, and holy crap they brought the energy to a different level. Style of music really isn't my thing, but I can't deny their energy and focus on stage. I think I lost my voice just watching them! Again, amazing show. Can't believe I only paid $5 for that, as I would have paid that much for each band. | Vegas J User Info... | I haven't seen the other bands but have heard good things from around town & the zone but I'll second that whole "MAURICE" praise-thing. IMHO I think they're simply just the best.
