Himsa opened the night with a strong set. I am not to famillar with their music but I think I'll give them a listen after their preformance. They are kinda slower but very strong. The stage pressance for the band was great.

Bleeding Through were also solid. The lead singer was all over the stage and practicly in the audiance. The pit durring all the bands was crazy. I was really drunk'n'stoned, and some ass pulled me from the seconed row, back into the pit, and nearly instantl some guy's head smacked my eyebrow. I was seeing stars for like thirty seconeds. Then I had to finish the set sitting and gettin more pissed.

Arch Enemy came to the stage with a vengence right out of the bible. They played all the old hits and the majority of the last two albums. Angela is a fucking goddes! No less. Absolute perfection by all members. Love the back to back solos.

By the end of their set me and Osirus Anubis were both staggering drunk, bashed to peices, and hungry. We left Filthy Cradle durring their first song. Im sure they were all that the Cradle fans were hopping for. (not my cup of joe). We preceided to get some getto slice, head home, and get more pissed. Even with the black eye witch I am kind-of attached to, the night was rockin. - Sat, 4 Dec 2004 6:17pm

Let me tell ya I was blown away by this show. Himsa ruled, I love their tunes and it was so cool getting to see them again. Bleeding Through fucking killed me they were amazing. Arch Enemy are now number two for metal bands that i have seen the number one being slayer, totally blew me away. Cradle Of filth, hmmm, well, pretty boring actually and Danni Filth is a big fatty pants now which was just hilarious. The first three bands stole the show and were well worth the ticket price. - Sat, 4 Dec 2004 11:40pm

Arch Enemy didn't play ANY of their old songs dude, how drunk were you? They played nothing but material off of Wages of Sin and after which is all weak in my opinion. I was so fucking dissapointed that I thought I saw Micheal Amott in the crowd after their set and I went to give him a piece of my mind but it wasn't him after all just some dude who looked exactly like him. I have been an Arch Enemy fan since the beginning and never in my life would I have actually thought that I would be anything less that ecstatic while watching them live... what a horrible turn of events. Nonetheless it was my first time even hearing Himsa and they slayed. Bleeding Through wasn't really my thing but they definitely had some good riffage. COF was pretty mighty to behold and seeing Dani perform those banshee wails live was pretty fuckin amazing. Again they didn't pay much off of Cruelty and the Beast(one song)which really got me choked so overall I was pretty pissed(both angry and drunk). I was so fucking hungover the next day that I've actually quit drinking... we'll see how long it lasts. - Sun, 5 Dec 2004 2:59pm

Bleeding Through bugged me too..the bass player's posing was hilarious, I couldn't keep a straight face during their set. HIMSA was great, I really enjoyed watching the guitar players wail away. Arch Enemy stole the show, though. I am now officially a fan. I've always been wary of female-fronted metal bands cause the only reason people seem impressed by them (Otep, I'm looking at you) is that 'oh, she sounds just.like.a guy'. Whoopee. But the Arch Enemy singer has made a believer out of me. Their songs are interesting and distinct. They put Cradle to shame. Even the die-hard C.O.F. fanatic I attended with agreed that Arch Enemy were the stars of the show. Cradle was mediocre and fights kept breaking out all around me so I just sat and watched for the last half of their set. And Dani Filth has totally become a pudgy Jonathan Davis look-a-like. He's so short too! Kind of like the Ronnie James Dio of our generation (no offense to Mr. Dio). - Sun, 5 Dec 2004 11:56pm

Destroyer has not a clue. Not one old song was played. I believe everything was off the last 3 albums. Destroyers spelling sucks too. - Mon, 6 Dec 2004 6:17am

hahaha....I love metal scraps....

Himsa was really damn good actually...minus the vocals, I'm just NOT into hardcore vocals at all...but the musicianship and the lead work was not bad at all..

Bleeding through...AGAIN, not my thing, the hardcore shuffle cracks me up too but whatever, again, it's HARDCORE...the wigger-Donkey_kong-shuffle is to be expected...but good for what they do I guess...but what was with that chick keyboardist? I couldn't hear a fucking note of keyboards at all during that set...

Arch Enemy did put on a good show for what they played, Angela Glossow is a wicked vocalist and frontwoman too, they did a damn fine job for what they DID play...but all in all, nothing off the first 3 albums, that was fucking dissapointing. They were one of my favorite bands for a while but their new shit is PALE compared to their first three albums...and what's with their shirts? "PURE FUCKING METAL" Reminded me of the In Flames shirts I saw, "Don't like In Flames?-Eat a bag of shit" Do these bands really have to put that front up to show how "metal" they are? Probably, considering that their earlier albums (which I still like) spoke for themselves...if I was Johan Liiva I'd be thinking, "I'm so glad they kicked me out of that band..."

I thought Cradle played a damn fine set, again I liked everything when Stuart was in the band but their newer stuff good too...my only real complaint was that the guitar sound was a little muddy...whether you like Dani or not, you can't argue/contest the fact that he does piercing Banshee vocals with NO VOCAL EFFECTS which I can't help but find impressive...but yeah, Sarah and Dani are turning into fatties which is kinda funny...mind you Gene Hoglan is a fatty too, are you gonna argue his flat out amazing drumming capabilities in Death? "Of course not, 'cause he's legendary..." yeah, whatever... - Thu, 9 Dec 2004 5:37pm

Gne Hoglan is solid gold. If you recored an album in Van you can make it solid gold too. Just ask Hoglan to make a guest apperrance, and for a small (hahahahah ahahah ah eh?) price, you got it. - Fri, 10 Dec 2004 12:11pm
