I had to start this thread. Such an amazing show. So much energy from all the bands and the crowd. The pit was raging all night long and all the bands were great. A great vibe throughout the show. Thanks to everyone who came out and made this one of the best shows I've ever been a part of. - Sun, 3 Oct 2004 1:05am

I must agree that show was truly amazing, i was glad that i was also part of it.
The Bands:
The set, nice sound, hela props for gettin out and doin a show concidering you have only been together for like a month! sweet nice work guys.

KINCAID, aS usual fuckin amazin, the dress was cool??? I was glad that i could hear more vocals this time everything sounded sweet. Killer set man.

Blue Skies At War, They were fuckin awesome!!!!! i saw ther video on much music the other day i thought it was pretty cool, and then someone at my school handed me a bill that said the lineup and i was like woah! is that the same band that i saw on the music video? i researched them on the internetand it was all true. The thing that shook me up the most tho was a fairly big band like b.s.a.w. how did they get a venue like the g oak room? o Well that was one of the sweetest live bands i had heard in a long time, good to see soem poisitive energy in the crowd. I really enjoyd these guys.

The Reason, woah! I had never herd these guys before, but after hearing them last night i sure wish i had, i would give up school to hear these guys everyday, such a great stage show and great sound, great pit. Andi havnt seen a circle pit like that since i moved here.

Anywho time for cherrios

the set, while not the best sounding band there, had some fucking good stage presence. "some people say we play emo, i would say we play the truth. because the truth is painful".

kincaide put on a wicked show, as usual. i was to far away to see, but i heard that there was some guitarist-penis action of some kind.

blue sky's at war was very good aswell, they had a really clean sound, and they obviously knew what they were doing.

the reason was probably my favourite band there. they were the only band were i actually got into the moshing, and it was freaking nuts. i hope these guys come back soon. very soon. - Sun, 3 Oct 2004 10:01am

I was only able to see the last band...the Reason and all I can say is -fucking amazing-
They were the tightest punk/rock/alternative (whatever u wanna call them cause they had alot of different feels on certain songs) that I've ever heard. Congrats guys, you rock!

ps
I liked how there was an actual stage this time! - Sun, 3 Oct 2004 10:15am

last nite was one of the best shows i've ever been a part of, theset did a great job, you kik ass kyle, so happy The Reason could make it, and Blue skies at war are really cool guys. The energy and appreciation from the crowd was overwhelming, so much love, thanks to all the kids supporting local music and making that a genuinely great show all around. - Sun, 3 Oct 2004 12:30pm

That was a great show. Glad that there was such a good turn out, too.

The Set - Were pretty good, especially for not having been together very long yet. Their singer was very dramatic. & the whole "Some people say we play emo, we say we play truth." was hilarious, as well as the 99 Problems cover.

Kincaide - Awesome band. This was probably the best set I've seen them play. Great vocals & bass, catchy guitar riffs, & very solid & creative drumming. One of the better Victoria bands.

Blue Skies At War - Very professional sounding. I was outside for most of their set but from what I did hear they sounded good.

The Reason - Really got the crowd going. Very polished sound, & they seemed to have a lot of fun on stage. I'd go see them if they came here again. - Sun, 3 Oct 2004 10:28pm

Thanks to everyone who came out, and a bigger thanx to thoes of you who helped out with the mad cleanup at the end, it was much appriciated. It was a good show with a great turnout, just next time it know its not all of you but please leave the booze at home and try and watch out for each other while dancing! If things don't get a little better before they get a little worse we might have to take a more hardline approach on drinking at shows and I don't like seeing people get hurt =) so look out for each other please =)

In all though it was solid, sounds like you had a good time, I had a good time, and I know the bands had a good time! The Reason said it was one of their best headlineing shows they've had in a long time, keep it up!
