It just isn't a bwood show without good bands, moshing, little kids puking everywhere and the cops showing up before 10.

haha.

Anyways. Congrats to the promoters. A very good job on putting on a entertaining show. Next of kin open up the night and set the mood. The sound was pretty horrible but they overcame it with their mad skillz. I'll have to pick up the cd next time.
Up next was the delightful band G.F.Y. Can you guess what their name stands for? Or, you could just say it was next of kin, minus alysha and ian and put in another dude. Anyways, caught most of their act, had to leave for a bit. but as always they are entertaining.
I had heard about the next band but had never heard any of their music, etc. Another day lived totally blew away but their talent and raw energy. It was hard rock at it's hardest. They were tight, good vocals, great sound. Apparently today they are starting to record so definately have to pick that up when it comes out. For sure they should play brentwood again.
Then came the vancouver band. I believe, Split Tract? The bassist was insane, guitarist was hot, drummer was even hotter, good sound, good songs, good times. Would love to see these guys again. Luckily they only had two songs left when the cops showed up. Im saying that in the good way, would've sucked for you guys to be cut off.

Overall, it was another successful show in brentwood. Congrats again to the promoter and everyone else who worked hard on that show.

splitTRACT Are awesome, such a polished act, I caught them for the first time this week..couple of pics of them in show reviews under Zappnin Black at Diego's Sept 16th. The Bassist is real good, just slappin' that thing...I couldn't make it up to Brentwood but sounds like a great show :> - Sun, 19 Sep 2004 8:33am
