They were actually two separate shows. I missed the hut party, but I talked to loads of people who said it was incredible.. and I believed them, from the way they said it and cuz it had to have been since Zuckuss played! Sounded like EVERYONE I knew was out there.
The very last Cobalt show the next night was a rush.. Mass Grave put on the best set I've seen them do - the crowd was roaring. Goatsblood had people's jaws dropping and as usual they got unbearably sloooooww. I LOVE that cuz you start making up beats yourself so you don't stop.. its fucked up. HHC caught people off guard actually talking about issues like they meant it in between songs.. nicely done.. takes balls. And FtF just blew everyone away. That band definately stands out. We have to get them back here.

Nice job Brett.. a huge success. People who weren't even familiar with the bands got hyped before it all, everyone got off at both shows, and the touring bands were stoked about all the cool people they hooked up with here and the local bands they saw so they'll be spreading good words about Van. Great show, both of them. The Hut show was more a party, so I enjoyed it for what it was. The 'Balt show was second to none, great turnout and great music. Great, just great. Grate. Ghreight.

Brett is fast becoming the Grind master of the scene. Keep it up, fucker. - Tue, 14 Sep 2004 2:45pm

Thanks Jesse for letting me use your drums. Wish I could have hung around afterwards, but our host, Micheal's Jordan, had to get up early for work the next morning, so we had to take off. (Hey take off, eh, ya hoser!) 'The little bitch'. - Wed, 15 Sep 2004 8:47am

i didn't come over to vancvouer for the house show.. althoguh i would of loved too, i had to work. but i was there for the "last" show at the cobalt and it was fucking awsome. mass grave and goatsblood could possibly be my favorite two local bands.. so it was nice to see them on the bill with some awsome out of town bands. both ftf and hhc blew me away.. though in the end i think i enjoyed hhc more and ended up picking up 2 of the 7"s including a tour edition limited to 200.. it rules!! blah blah.. Hesh.. your the man! - Wed, 15 Sep 2004 10:47pm
