| jay brown User Info... | All righty I feel like I'm 18 again. I woke up with a living room full of mohawks and doc martens... Well lets see here, the all ages show was fun, the turn out wasnt the greatest but hey Tony Goluza was there and really what else matters hmm. We didnt get to see all the bands cause as soon as we were done we had to run off to the bar and set up to play again. D.I.Y. are definitely getting better though let me tell ya nicely done guys. The bar show, well I think all three bands on the bill rocked the house in damn fine form last night. The turn out wasnt everything I had hoped for but it was still pretty full so thats o.k. a few of the vancouver crew stuck around after the friday show so we got to party with them a little more which was fun. The Ripcordz played a damn fine set as usual and had the crowd all singing along and having a great time. The party continued on at the jam space for a while afterwards then it was sleepy time for all us old punks. Off to courtenay now, the shows up there always rock so I'm guessing tomorrow will be a huge hangover. | Lurker User Info... | Fucking bloody hell. Three Ripcordz shows in the past two days have been killer. Would've gone to Courtenay tonight if my car hadn't fucking died Victoria (where it currently rests). Now I have to fucking drive down there and meet a tow truck tomorrow at 7:30, go to a shop, and get back to work for 10:00. | jay brown User Info... | Well he did in fact make it to the show last night as he predicted he would... nice work Frazier. The saturday show in courtenay was pretty damn cool the place was packed and the kids went off. The bands all played great sets and the party at Hoon's house afterwards continued till the sun came up. The Nanaimo show the next night... well we stopped at a lake in between and laid around all day till the hangovers had calmed down, then off to do it again. As ususal Myka did a fine job of throwing a good show. Once again the kids went off, and great fun was had by all. Tyler is going back to Vernon now so the Hoosegow is on hiatus yet again... the Ripcordz are on their way to Williams lake tonight and we'll see them again in twelve months... | Ty Stranglehold User Info... | Here I back in Vernon reflecting on one hell of a weekend! Thanks to everyone for making it happen. It was sure great to get back to playing again. Courtney was great thanks to Boomhauer continuing to crack us up. Nanaimo was good. I've never seen so many kids pay $5 to go and hang in the parking lot at a show. | Myka User Info... | Yeah. The Nanaimo show was great. Good turn out (although alot of people decided that the parking lot was where it was at??) And a Fucking great set by all the bands. Thanks for coming up. Hey, Jay. What do you think about next year helping me arange a two day camping fest thing up here when the Ripcordz come out?
