I really liked this show. I was highly gratified by covers of two of my old favourites, 7 Seconds by the Proles and Agnostic Front by Dissent. I especially dug the Proles cover, cuz Dissent are old guys like me, and it is nice to see from younger guys that stuff like 7 seconds is not forgotten. AK-47 always play such a flawless, energetic set. They truly love what they are doing and it shows. It was so great to see Ninth Hour playing again. Rad and fast. Dissent were awesome hardcore. The singer was so given'er! - Mon, 12 Jul 2004 11:08am

The 7 Seconds cover by the proles was sweet, Ak played an incredible set as always, they got a sweet circle pit going!
9th hour was really impressive and the singer was a really nice guy. As for Dissent(sp?) they where flat out incredible. I had to leave thier set before it ended due to fear of missing my bus.

All in all it was a truely kickass show. - Mon, 12 Jul 2004 11:34am

Yeah guys, thanks for coming out, it all turned out well in the end. I was a complete stress-case all night since I've never had to deal with that many morons at a show before, but whatever. Gotta take the bad with the good. Though I'd really like to strangle that little imp who was crawling around on the roof. - Mon, 12 Jul 2004 5:55pm

Brian, that reminds me of putting on a show in the old SUB Upper Lounge and being informed by campus security that there were people on the roof trying to break into CFUV! - Mon, 12 Jul 2004 7:31pm

the poster said old school...and guess what..fuckin murry acton and scotty henderson showed for this one...thats about as OLD school as it gets kids! the proles played a good set & the 7 seconds cover was a sure standout. I don't think i will ever get tired of watching AK-47 play, these guys blaze through their songs with ease and are amazing. (and again i will say their drummer is hands down THE BEST hardcore drummer in this town that i've seen!!) ninth hour...well this was the third time in 5 months we all were in one room together..so no wonder we sounded so rough! ..i personally loved Dissent...not only were they all really really nice guys..they played the brand of hardcore that i grew up with...and didn't dissapoint...loved the AF cover. looking forward to playing more shows with these guys in the future...brian put on a good show and thanks to everyone who came out...all bands were really different in their own right..but i think has something to offer everyone there. - Wed, 14 Jul 2004 12:48am
