Mr. Plow, your the rock star that will make it to the top!Self inflicted delivered me into the bowels of Chris's lungs. Thick, raw and worth every looney I spent on them cheep beer. Allen Wrench could apply for some sort of religious tax and work permit exemption. Cult following!?!Jay Brown, was it worth it? Sorry about kicking your sore elbow, it was not intended as a direct assault on you or your elbow. Just tried to say good-by. I didn't Know you were in a car accident and crushed your elbow. Hope you can still drum. Peace and Love. - Sat, 10 Jul 2004 12:57pm

I can't beleive how small the turnout was at this show! Mr.Plow rocked my fucking world (as always) but it woulda been great if he got to play a bit of a longer set and if the crowd was a bit more into it. But i guess they didn't know what they were missing.

Self Inflicted were fast and brutal, definite VIHC style with much more depth vocally then previous times I've caught a set. Props to Zak for not falling over durring the set (that I noticed).

Now for Kill Allen Wrench...
jesus fuck, Dr. Heathen Scum could just walk into a room and I'd be mesmerized. I've been a fan for a few years but have always had to miss the show the other times they were here so this was my first time actually witnessing the phenomenon of KAW.
Even though the set was short, and the crowd was small and the gear was fucking up I had a fucking amazing time. It was incredible to be able to see a band that i'd been into forever (with mentors remnants thrown in for good measure)

I really enjoyed this show. Musically KAW was better last time but the spectacle was very amusing. Punk Rock lives on. I think Self Inflicted keep getting better and better, awesome. My first time hearing Mr. Plow, pretty fucking funny. Where was everybody? Bands come to Victoria, they love this city yet it is frustrating when they can't make enough to make it worth their while. Thank you to everyone that came out and supported this show and drank lots of Pabst. Ben. - Sat, 10 Jul 2004 3:59pm

Hey Hippydave I take it your the one I got into it with outside then. Ya sorry I totally lost it, it's just hard to think straight when someone has just kicked you in a broken bone. sorry about trying to kick your teeth in, I was just way over the deep end and all I could focus on was how much my arm hurt and that the person that did it was right there. Good show otherwise though, Plow played great, S.I. rocked, props to Jay for learning all the bass lines in two jams. KAW, well I hope they play a better show in van cause I gotta tell you I've seen them a few times and it wasnt nearly as good as I know they can do. Still damn entertaining to watch though.. - Sat, 10 Jul 2004 4:14pm

Since everyone is apologizing. Sorry for trying to kick the guy who threw a beer can at my head in the teeth. And many sorrys to the chick who accidently split beer on my camera for yelling at you. I totally overreacted. No harm no foul.
Peace to Jeff and Lara as well. The evening was a beer soaked bloodbath of scandal and debauchery. The assissins were silent and not so deadly, maybe next time they will man
up and at least make an attempt. Mariachi Mysterioso was much missed. How does an American punker sustain a hockey injury? I would have been great to see him up there in a wheelchair. Hey Ben, how many cases of Pabst are left over? I'm glad the Hippy Dave vs. Jay Brown situation has been difused. Everyone go to HorrorFeast @ Lucky Bar Thursday, July 15th for the Zombiefeast DVD release party. Films at 9pm sharp. Peace in the Middle East. - Sat, 10 Jul 2004 5:38pm

Missed the show, but "beer soaked bloodbath of scandal and debauchery" sounds exactly like what I remember from their show last year (which isn't very much).

Allen didn't get assassinated then? - Sun, 11 Jul 2004 1:41am

How to start. KAW totally sucked this time around. No blood drinking no 2nd guitar player. I just couldn't get into them at all. Mr. Plow awesome wit and humour like someone said here earlier too bad people really weren't into it. Lastly Self Inflicted rocked best vocals I've seen from them yet and a new bass player I see. I hope KAW didn't take all the door money and SI and Mr. Plow got nothin cos they just opened. Bottom line, KAW actually was a total let down. - Sun, 11 Jul 2004 10:51am

Yes, as KAW said, "Worst show ever." The straps kept falling off, Mariachi has surgery in a couple of days, The Prince was beyond corked, and Allen Wrench wasn't able to cross with his little blood cup.

The show in Vancouver was a lot better. It was too bad about the small turn out due to no promotion of the show.

These guys rock for spending a chunk and making the effort to get up here and rock, even if things didn't go as smoothly as they usually do. - Sun, 11 Jul 2004 11:01am

I will personally appologize to Mr. Plow for my guitarist and bass player making a return to the show nearly an hour after they were supposed to be there. Not too impressive in my opinion and we're sorry. - Sun, 11 Jul 2004 9:50pm

That was a scary show, not only did I show up drunk to begin with, but everyone seemed to be totally mellow, but the negativity was just waiting to happen, good thing i left when I did, cause I heard there were a few fights afterwards. And sorry to Jay Brown's G/F, I was a drunken mess, so sorry if I pissed ya off. - Sun, 18 Jul 2004 10:37pm
