ML7Mike User Info... | Caught this show on Tuesday night at the Royal Theater. class act all around.. Pizzarelli is one talented guitarist, not to mention the skill level of his band. Nothing quite like flawlessly speedy 5 minute jazz solo's played perfectly.. Also had Antonio Carlos Jobim's grandson in the band doing some vocals as they covered some of those old Jobim tunes. Didnt quite blow my mind as much as Mike Stern Band did last Jazzfest, but then agian its a different entity of style all together. - Wed, 30 Jun 2004 2:50pm
Curmudgeon Rocker User Info... | Fuck I'm pissed I missed Pizzarelli. Like to see more fathers pass down their awesomeness to their sons, like Dewey and Joshua Redmond, John and Ravi Coltrane, among other hosers. - Wed, 30 Jun 2004 7:29pm
