How did the end of the show go? I had to leave during the middle of Mass Grave's set, and missed them and Iskra and their crazy crust antics.

In other news, i think that was "the Mido"'s best show out of the 5 we've played. Maybe it was the black metal cover we threw in there. MAYBE. I just hope we dont upset the black metal band who's song we covered. They are known to sacrifice any who make their band slightly less underground to the dark goat lord in the moonlit forests of Beacon Hill Park

also, who was that with the video camera during The Cloak's set? Did he only film The Cloak? - Sun, 6 Jun 2004 11:51am

the dude with the camera was Brian VIHC, and i'm pretty sure he only filmed CLOAK, because we asked him to come and film us and bought him tape. - Sun, 6 Jun 2004 12:03pm

that was a super fun show.. thanks to all the bands for being flexible. no problems yet again.. thx to everybody who donated money..

mitochondrion were excelent last night... really like the new song.. they just keep gettting better.. teh ae song was great. mach tiver surprised me.. they were way better than the mp3s i listened to on the internet. super nice people, heavy as hell for 3 strings. was cool to have so many different styles of music.. the cloak were way better this time than the first time i saw them (not that they didn't rock then). i really like the dual vocals now.. and some very epic riffs.. relaly good energy.. nice people as well. mass grave from vancouver were so good as well.. blazing disrupt worship.. super tight.. loved the vocals.. super nice people as well. and last but not least was iskra/diskra i got to say... the diskra song was fucking awsome.. played a super energetic set for being last on a 6 band bill 6 weeks into tour. thanks to everybody for making the show happen.. beign respectful of our space. was nice to meet everybody.. hope everybody enjoyed themselves.

really good photos btw.. we've really wanted to video tape one of the full shows int eh basement but havn't got organised enough.. if anybody has digital pictures of any of teh bands from last night.. adn would be willing to send them to me that would be awsome. - Sun, 6 Jun 2004 12:18pm

Had a good time, managed to make it in from work, and it was worth it! Met some new people from LiveVic, got to see good bands...Holy fucking Ambulance Iskra, whuaha it's fucking great, paint job though. Good to hear the tour went well, bet it's nice to sleep in your own bed now though. Missed The Cloak and Iskra because I left like a little bitch to go home and sleep, but I've seen your stinking bands too many times anyway! - Sun, 6 Jun 2004 1:36pm

yeah this show was the rock. i totally heart it.

BWD are so awesome i nearly puked blood.

we were ok.

the cloak. holy shit. the cloak. they fucking SLAY. dual vocals are the new black. totally great!

mach tiver were REALLY cool. i like the idea of a bass only band (ala: Lightning Bolt) but this was a little more traditional. i loved it.

mass grave (from what i saw in my drunken stupor) were awesome. very punk influenced kinda grind (okay, crust...).

iskra...wonderous iskra. i loved the full energy of them even though they were out there for so long. damn good set.

ps: this might be one of our last sets as a 4 piece...(in the positive) - Sun, 6 Jun 2004 1:57pm

I had such a blast. I think I got to tell all the bands that they rocked in person, so I'll just use this time to blah, blah about other stuff. First off I'm so stoked that dicksra is home and safe. I also want to mention the show at the underwear farm. Yeah it ruled(minus fist girl), and it was the last show for Matt the Goatsblood drummer (single tear), but I hear the new drummer will be able do the job well, although he has big shoes to fill. But if anyone wants to see those pictures from that show go to http://www.photobucket.com album name is sludgecunt (thanks meg *kiss kiss*). As for me getting the pictures up from our show i will as soon as I can....(I'll just send you the pictures via e-mail Cloak dudes). thanks again everyone \m/. - Mon, 7 Jun 2004 3:18am

Why wasn't there awesome black and white pic's of all the bands? Bryn rules, the other photographers suck a fuck. I can understand leaving a show when the really shitty bands hit the stage, but i would say all the bands totally rocked that night. I shed a single tear when people cleared out after the cloak. the reason there are only black and white pictures of us (cloak) is the same reason there's only video footage of us. i asked my friend to take pictures of us and i bought him the film. he doesnt even like hardcore or metal, he just came as a favour.

"New rule, only B&W photos are allowed to be taken at burnside house shows."

True story:
the fuckers that run that burnside shithole are obviously fascists...making up stupid rules and enforcing them on the innocent show goers...whats next everyone HAS to like Manowar or you not allowed inside?.....assholes. - Sun, 27 Jun 2004 10:49am

I'm in favour of daguerrotype papparazzi ONLY. Or exhuming Diane Arbus and "happy-whistling" her from the dead, her dessicated corpse coming to life like that absolutely fucking re-killable, giggling, faggot cadaver from "Tales from the Crypt". - Mon, 28 Jun 2004 9:44pm
