mcecill User Info... | Agreed. Very good show all around. Bands were great, sound was great. Coke heads moshing to the most mellow of Sparta tunes... not so great. Cool to see this show at Lucky, very intimate. It was a night of great bands with great songs. And to anyone who didn't go because "they aren't as good as at the drive in" you missed a great show by a band who wasnt ATDI. - Mon, 31 May 2004 4:03am
ML7Mike User Info... | unfortunately my free ticket flew to Calgary for game 3 and forgot to leave the ticket :( - Mon, 31 May 2004 4:28am
One Divided User Info... | Yeah Sparta rocked. The singer was dead on and the new songs kicked ass. The only thing that surprised me was how many mistakes the drummer made! Although, at the same time, I have to give him credit for the crazy shit he pulled off. Engine down I had never heard, but I thought they were awesome. Super tight and great singing. The drummer had a very cool style. Their set sounded a bit repetative after about 5 songs though. All State I only heard one song at the end but it was probably the highlight of my night next to a few of the sparta tunes. Oh, and one more thing, my feet got stepped on about 15 times! Should have had a bigger venue, but I guess there wasn't enough presales for Suger. Anyone else experience this problem? hahah - Mon, 31 May 2004 5:28am
mb User Info... | wicked show. It would have been cool to see it at Sugar but, despite getting stepped on a lot,I thought Lucky was a great venue for the show just because it was smaller and the sound was good. Sparta ruled and I really liked Engine Down. If I wasnt so broke, I would have definitely bought their CD. - Mon, 31 May 2004 6:37am
minimags User Info... | Yeah Sparta definatly kicked. Wasn't so down with the fuckers in the front moshing. And the chick behind me going " play number 4!" if you are going to go to a concert, and you obviously have heard their stuff before, know the names of the songs you dumb dumb. - Mon, 31 May 2004 7:47am

heh User Info... | i thought they rocked! i am even a bigger fan of Sparta now. Engine Down sucked, very boring, songs all sounded the same, but I loved All State Champion. Victoria needs more semi famous bands like Sparta to play here. - Tue, 1 Jun 2004 2:32pm
