Both The End and Ion Dissonance put on amazing shows. Not too often do I see that much skill and performance going on at once in this city.

We (Pariah) really enjoyed playing as well. We had great stage sound (love playing at Lucky Bar!!) and were really happy to be opening up for 2 awesome bands!

Decent turnout too.

Everyone and their dog should be at the all ager tonight with the Cloak and Meatlocker 7. DO NOT MISS IT! - Fri, 14 May 2004 6:49am

i never thougt id be so injured after a 6 man mosh ,

2 screwed up fingers on my left hand
2 flailing punches to the left eye(one managed to get a finger under my eyelid)
1 kick to the balls
6 cuts on my elbow

what a great show. all 3 bands sounded awsome, the turn out was alright but it could have been better THE END was by far one of the most energenic bands ive seen in a while , if you didnt see them with pariah , go to the Meatlocker 7 show tonight! - Fri, 14 May 2004 7:23am

I thought Pariah sounded better than ever.

Ion Dissonance were good, I was really impressd with the way the bassist and drummer interacted so well. Vocals started to grate on me after awhile though.

The End took especially long to kick it off and were a prime example of why soundchecks need to happen before shows, not at 1am in the morning. I musta saw half the bar clear out waiting for them to start. By the time they were halfway through the set there were about 25 people left.

Anyhow, I thought they were good, but they didnt seem to be as good as when I saw them a few years ago at Logans. And they didnt have their bassist then either.. But thats not to say they didnt kick ass, extremely talented, and they got into some really crazy atmospheric stuff that was different than last time around. I can see why they are signed to Relapse thats for sure... - Fri, 14 May 2004 11:04am

just caught pariah's set and I must say they fucking slayed!
Unreal how tight they sound and the new (old) singer is awesome, good vocals not monotone and very rhymatic. This is an incredible improvement for them. If you had seen them before, see them again and they will fuck you up!

only one little critisim: longer solos! I know guitar wanking is less and less a forefront in death/thrash/black metal but as a guitarist fuck nothings better than an three minute screaming self indulgent solo.
but hey, thats just my opinion - Sat, 15 May 2004 3:29am

I loved Ion Dissonance . . . so much fucking energy and precision, when they played "The Death of One Man . ." I almost cried tears of blood. Really cool guys too.

The End was so precise and dead on!!! All of the Within Dividia stuff was so emaculately executed. So much energy and stage presence. Instumentals were killer. Fuck everyone who left during their set!!!!!!!! You missed out HUGE! - Sun, 16 May 2004 2:50pm

Yeah, that's too bad people split early and missed out on the awesome The End - killer band, totally inspiring. Pariah put in a strong set as usual (at B-wood as well). Ion Dissonance beat me up eight ways till Tuesday - crazy atonal pummelling insanity, while tight as fuck. Their opening number was totally cool. - Sun, 16 May 2004 6:09pm

That was lame how everyone went home before The End. I couldn't believe my eyes when i turned around during The Ends set, it was like a ghost town. Tumble weeds were frickin blowing by! Whats wrong with this town? - Fri, 21 May 2004 12:45pm

yah that was shitty..

But then again, when I gotta get up at 8am the next morning, I know by 1:45am I was barely awake and left just before 2.

The End took waaay too long to setup their gear and soundcheck, and I saw most of the people leave then. - Sat, 22 May 2004 5:02am
