Brian VIHC User Info... | This show was excellent and fulfilled all my hopes for it. Lots of crowd participation, everyone laughing and having a great time, crazy fun Vancouver kids, and very little drunken stupidity to put up with. Even the kids who were secretly drinking outside had the decency to drink way out back where no one would see them. Cut Throat Dynasty, you guys keep it up. Mad dancing and a good set. You guys rock. Discord gets better every time I see them and I love the vocals. Anyone who sat these guys out missed some great punk, very polished and pissed off sounding, and very catchy. In Stride was awesome, great to see them two nights in a row, these guys are tons of fun and know how to get the crowd whipped up. I'm glad I finally have a demo tape. Tough As Nails played their best Victoria show ever in my opinion, huge pile-ons, kids freaking out everywhere and people wanting a second encore that wasn't forthcoming. So Chris from In Stride had to do a little a cappella Earth Crisis, ha ha. Good times. We hope to bring In Stride back when they tour, so don't miss it. - Sun, 25 Apr 2004 1:11pm
xTambox User Info... | This show was awesome, if you missed it you really missed out. Cut Throat Dynasty was awesome, they were ten times better than their first show and the True Till Death cover was awesome as usual. Everyone was getting into it (Including myself) Discord was great, it's awesome that they came down from Nanaimo to do a show, if they come back down I'd definately go check em out again. More Cowbells please! In Stride were wicked. It's awesome that they came to the island for a couple shows and brought some awesome hardcore with them. Had half the audiance hardcore dancing so that's always awesome. Tough as Nails were so great as well. so many huge pileons, I don't even think they need a vocalist, the crowd could do the singing for them. It was my first time seeing these guys and I'm already looking forward to their next show. All in all it was a wicked show, congrats to all the people who put this thing on and all the bands who played. - Sun, 25 Apr 2004 1:40pm
jay brown User Info... | One of the funnest shows I've been to in a long time. The bands rocked, The crowd went off and yes there was no silliness at the hall... too cool. Definitely the best show I've ever seen Tough As Nails do. The drumming has gotten so good I was totally impressed. The crowd just feeds off of them so much it's damn cool to watch. Got myself an InStride demo, I didnt even know bands made tapes anymore.. - Sun, 25 Apr 2004 3:10pm

Onemosphere User Info... | Haven't heard In Stride, but every Tough as Nails show I've seen has been pretty badass. - Thu, 29 Apr 2004 11:37am
XJAyX User Info... | PR23 was a completely different band. Different style, different line up, different songs. Tough As Nails started about 4 months after PR23 broke up. Gerry, Josh and I were still good friends and we all still wanted to be playing music, so it just made sense to start a new band. I'm glad people remember us though. The Gas mask mic is collecting dust, but I'm sure I'll find another use for it someday. - Thu, 29 Apr 2004 5:22pm
