| Akylore User Info... | Wow. I was stoked about this solely because I knew he was going to perform some Schubert pieces, Schubert has some good stuff in his Lieder. But when I found out that this singer had studied & performed with Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, my favorite bass/baritone singer of all time...HOLY SHIT!!! He sounded a lot like him too...I was floored. Excellent control and prescence, I was blown away. The other French and Italian songs were good, but the Schubert performances were worth every penny... - Tue, 20 Apr 2004 5:37pm | ||
