Fuck, what a fun show, kindof a small turnout but all good people, alot of faces i havent seen in a while... The proles were up first, they delivered a solid set despite the talk of breaking up (well be sad to see ya go.). Then was us, D.I.Y., ill let someone else revue this if you want, as usual we were plagued with technical diffaculties, but thanks to the quick action of a few fancies we got back on track (thanks joe and chuck, cheers.) Then was MGK, holy shit, havent seen em in so long, but theyve gotten so tight, it was rad to see. and last but not least was The Rampant.. what can you say that hasnt been said? great set, great band. Kinda shitty that all the bands couldnt show, but the lineup still kicked ass, cheers for the show guys, hope to play more soon.

Proles: ***
Possibly the best set I've seen them play, I think... I dont think the guitar was loud enough, but, it WAS only Kenny... hehe

DIY: ****
Sound problems up the shiznat, but it was fixed pretty fast... How many goddamn times did you try and play DIY? Anyways, yadda yadda yadda, Dave's a fag and Serial Killer were my favourite tunes of the night...

Machine Gun Kelly: ****
First (or second... Cannot remember, haha) time seing them... Totally awesome. I thought they were quite a bit different from the rest of the bands, but not at all in a bad way... High energy, super-tight, great band.

Rampant: ***
I don't know if it was just me, but I didnt enjoy this set as much as I did seeing them at other shows... Still an awesome band, and I will be at future shows! rock on...

That was one of the gnarlyest shows not because the lack of people or the price, but (i found) that everyone was helping out and that made the show more successful. All the bands were superb and the small croud was grand aswell. - Mon, 19 Apr 2004 2:01pm
