Tyler User Info... | Did anyone go to this? Basically, at about 8:45 I had just missed the Bus 61. So I wandered around and heard music. Xavier Rudd apparently. I sat on the grass and listened, sounded like folky culturally-influenced hippy music. Some cool grooves. So I went to the 2nd highest level of the next-door parkade, joined a couple other people who are as smart as me, and we saw the entire thing from there. I'm not familiar with Xavier Rudd so I was suprised how many people were there. Probably twice as many as at alexisonfire. I've never even heard of the guy. People seemed to know a few of his songs. It was some groovy dancable stuff though. I know a couple of us were bopping around up in the parkade, and the crowd way down below was also moving around and having a great time. I was fond of the didgeridoo-playing. I would have to say I enjoyed it. I don't think I would have paid $25 for it though, but I can see how it would appeal to others. - Thu, 21 Jul 2005 12:31am
mica User Info... | i was there. thought it was a great show. i think he does an amazing job of playing several different instruments at once. good vocals too. good energy. good show. i think he has built a big following through the festival circuit. funny thing is that he was playing to about ten people at lucky bar just a couple of years ago. good for him - i'd pay $25 to see him play again. - Thu, 21 Jul 2005 4:30am

Tambo User Info... | Mike, my band's drummer plays the digery doo, why don't you? It's crucial in breakdowns. - Sun, 24 Jul 2005 8:46pm
