Anaki_Muon User Info... | The Alesis Micron has been sold for $300.00. - Thu, 6 Sep 2007 7:21pm
Tyler User Info... | I'm aware that this is kind of a super lowball offer but I'll throw up $10 for the FB01. I think there are more options for FM synthesis in software environments like Max/MSP, hell, I've programmed my own that are pretty decent. but my curiosity is still peaked a tiny bit. - Fri, 7 Sep 2007 4:20pm
KnifeGhost User Info... | If it comes to that, I'd pay $20 for the FB. Just saying. - Fri, 7 Sep 2007 11:19pm
Tyler User Info... | well uh.... I meant $20.01. - Sat, 8 Sep 2007 9:52pm

Anaki_Muon User Info... | The Yamaha FB01? You can have it for $25.00 Oh and as a side remark, sure there are more options for FM synthesis in software environments, but hardware isn't really prone to crashing the way computers are. It's kind of the advantage of hardware, ya' know? - Sun, 9 Sep 2007 4:05pm
KnifeGhost User Info... | Hardware is its own reward. - Sun, 9 Sep 2007 4:23pm
Aidan Logins User Info... | Are there drivers for Vista Premium for the Emu?? I would like it but I have this ridiculous windows... I'll probably just put XP on it as well, but trying to avoid that for now. - Mon, 10 Sep 2007 10:16am
Anaki_Muon User Info... | The Vista drivers for the Emu 1616 are currently in beta, which you can download, but a stable release is expected soon. http://www.emu.com/support/vista.asp I'm not sure about Vista myself, but I'm under the impression from others that you're better off with XP. - Mon, 10 Sep 2007 6:32pm
Aidan Logins User Info... | Yeah same here. I don't really like Vista. but I'm sticking with it until I have to change. I'll email you after I eat about the Emu. - Mon, 10 Sep 2007 6:37pm
Anaki_Muon User Info... | Okay. I'll be looking forward to your e-mail :) - Mon, 10 Sep 2007 10:17pm
Anaki_Muon User Info... | It doesn't look like Aidan Logins is interested in the Emu, so an FYI for any potential buyers: it's still available. - Tue, 11 Sep 2007 6:27pm
sealion User Info... | I am using emu vista beta drivers without a problem on an emu 0404 running ableton Live. Now tascam gigastudio 3 orchestral hates VISTA big time, a lost cause. But same thing new machine, drivers running not going back. some suggest a dual boot machine w/xp in its own partition but I upgraded to get away from fiddly stuff. But I did learn that if you go to install and it wont then look up how to add exe programs to DEP exclusions. Just search Data execution prevention in help. It solved a lot of issues when i added the troubled programs to an exceptions list. No help on teh web about it. - Tue, 11 Sep 2007 7:49pm
Aidan Logins User Info... | Sorry dood, I have been at work constantly and such. I'm seeeriously emailing you this time. But now I am broke. So somebody buy this thing it sounds very good. - Tue, 11 Sep 2007 9:24pm Edited: Tue, 11 Sep 2007 9:30pm
Anaki_Muon User Info... | Seems it's harder to unload these things than I thought... I am taking reasonable offers on everything that is left. - Emu 1616 : $400 : Hardly used, my laptop is kicking the bucket so I gotta let this thing go. Comes with original box, manuals, software. http://www.emu.com/products/product.asp?category=505&subcategory=491&product=13554 - Yamaha FB01 : $50 : Desktop 4-operator FM synthesizer. http://www.vintagesynth.com/yamaha/fb01.shtml - Roland D110 + PG10 : $200 : Rackmount synthesizer that uses LA synthesis, and the slider control unit to make editing a tad easier. http://www.vintagesynth.com/roland/d110.shtml - Ensoniq EPS + output expander : $300 : Have around 50 to 60 disks, output expander is missing 9-PIN DIN cord which you'll have to pick up from your local computer shop if you want to use it. Also have the original manual. http://www.vintagesynth.com/ensoniq/ens_eps.shtml - Sat, 15 Sep 2007 11:24am
Tyler User Info... | $20.66 on FB01 still. if you're interested in my offer, fire me an email and we can arrange to meet up. - Sat, 15 Sep 2007 1:07pm
Anaki_Muon User Info... | Nah, I'm sure I can eBay it for at least $25.00. It's not exactly an item that takes up much space anyhow. The only one I really want to get rid of at this point is the Ensoniq EPS. Everything else can go to the bay without too much hassle if needed. - Sun, 16 Sep 2007 2:46pm Edited: Sun, 16 Sep 2007 2:46pm
