jordandrummer User Info... | hey victoria music scene, I want to get a car on the road and need to downsize/raise money for mechanics, inspections, insurance, etc... so that i can drive my drumz, computers, child, and myself around rather than bus/hitch/bike/be at the whim of the 'with-car' people..etc. haha. These are just general prices, just to get the word out there; open to offers, possible trades, yadda yadda. Yorkville 120 bass amp (not a new model, but great shape!)...........$250 Denon stereo receiver.....................................$225 New Raleigh basic mountain bike with shocks, won it in a raffle, don't need it........$200 Teac single disc player......................................$80 Sony single disc player......................................$50 Older but clean EQ unit.....................................$40 Small wooden desk...........................................$30 I also may sell various hand drums, a vintage drumset (Star, pre-Tama jazz drums with funky black pearl 3D-lookin finish) records, computer parts, a new 'tobacco' waterpipe bought here in town, and maybe anything else u may need. if u don't need any of these things but know someone who does, feel free to get them to contact me or whatever. And once again, if anyone needs affordable computer help, systems/parts, or software, let me know, and if u overhear anyone complaining about their PC pass them on to me. Much thanx, adios! odb User Info... | tell me more about the star drumkit - Wed, 29 Sep 2004 1:37pm
jordandrummer User Info... | Apparently Star is Tama in it's pre-Tama days. it has a funky psychedelic finish, kinda 3D pearly like you may have seen in white, like a buddy rich kit, tho this is the black version. I was impressed to get the whole kit, for some reason the guy parted with the bass drum first, and kept a couple toms on his mix-matched kit; then slowly he parted with the toms one by one and I have the original metal snare... so now it's like, 20" bass drum, 12" and 14" toms I believe (one rack and one floor) and the snare. I call it my "billy martin kit"... as it inspires me to play funky jazz-funk like the Medeski Martin and Wood drummer. doesn't take up much room either. needs a skin or two for some of the tom bottoms but I believe I have all the hoops. I have considered selling it on ebay for a pretty penny but may sell it locally... fixed up it would be one fine little classic jazz kit. let me know! JK - Thu, 30 Sep 2004 2:23pm
