THC Guitars User Info... | Beautiful flame top, quality hardware and a devastating active Humbucker. Many people compare the GuitarHeads to EMG-81's but with a fuller, more natural sound. Plenty of low end! Thanks for looking! The guitar is near mint and includes a hardshell case. Need cash, Vet bills and tuition are taking their toll! Toby 250-479-2307 - Sat, 18 Aug 2007 12:32pm

Mattj User Info... | Haha, yea no kidding. But you have to remember you are try to sell stuff to other muscians who are usually broke anyway. - Tue, 23 Oct 2007 1:06pm
THC Guitars User Info... | Hey Guys, I can't believe that no one has jumped the Schecter 006 or the ESP LTD Viper that I have up for sale. Both are mint to near mint and play and sound great. In many ways I hope nobody goes for this Schecter as it plays great, sounds huge with the GUitarHeads active pickup and has a unique flame top. As Mattj said broke people trying to sell stuff to other people who are generally broke doesn't go very far. Thanks, Toby - Wed, 24 Oct 2007 5:41pm Edited: Wed, 24 Oct 2007 5:42pm
THC Guitars User Info... | Hey Matt, Have you thought about giving the Guitarheads actives a try. I jam with the Jamie (we've been playing together since the days of Moral Decay and Jumbo Prawn), drummer for AK-47, and he has heard the EMGs and GuitarHeads head to head. He prefers the chunky sound and articulation of the GuitarHeads actives. If you have any questions feel free to email me at [email protected] or call 479-2307. Thanks, Toby - Wed, 24 Oct 2007 5:47pm

Harry User Info... | Hi there, I was looking at your Schecter 006 Elite on live victoria and I was wondering the 'jumbo' frets. Are they just farther apart? i like this guitar but i want something with a relitivly narrow neck. - Fri, 14 Mar 2008 9:24pm
Tyler User Info... | this is just a logical thought but I'm pretty sure jumbo frets mean that the actual metal fret pieces are thicker and jut out more. comes with advantages and disadvantages. personally, I'll take jumbo frets over thin frets any day. fret distance should be the same and it should have no bearing on how narrow or wide the neck is. - Sat, 15 Mar 2008 10:00am Edited: Sat, 15 Mar 2008 10:00am
Tambo User Info... | Although, it might make playing the guitar feel chunkier. I'm pretty sure Tyler's right though. - Sat, 15 Mar 2008 12:04pm
THC Guitars User Info... | The three broad categories of fret profile are narrow, medium, and wide (or jumbo) and XJ. The scale (length) of the neck remains unchanged. Many players prefer the playability of Jumbo and XJ frets as these take less pressure/effort to hit a note or do bends. Most modern guitars come with Jumbo or XJ frets. Wider frets also present somewhat blurrier, less distinct noting than narrow frets (all this under a powerful microscope, if you will, in tonal terms, but that’s what we’re here for). Narrow frets (generally found on vintage instruments and not common on many "mainstream" guitars) are considered by some to be more precise and can yield more shimmering harmonics.
