OK, here's the deal...

I'm looking for people to jam with, who are motivated and have the commitment to make the weekly jam, cept I've run into a few problems, namely: Only know one chord (F) but I can play single strings, I only have a 10 watt Traynor practice amp, but I might be able to pick up a decent amp setup if the jam works out (mmm... Marshall stack), and I am still trying to play a song from start to finish. I do have the motivation, but I don't have a steady jam space (my batchelor apartment is out of the question :). Plus, I'm really self conscious (eg. might hate playing gigs). Reason for this crazy idea: I can only learn so much on my own, I need to jam with people to learn more.

Interested parties should be influenced by stuff I wanna cover (Rudimentary Peni, SubHumAns, Six Feet Under, Cannibal Corpse, Ripcords, etc.) but should also bring a lot of original ideas to the table (even something simple). It should be a fun jam environment, nothing serious to begin with. Oh also must be able to consume large amounts of ales/lagers :) Oh and here's the main point: You can't be playing in current bands, but any input would be HUGE.

I seem to be able to play riffs I've heard, not that I'm accurate, but can get the riff figured out. Anyhow, if your crazy enuff to do this, e-mail me ([email protected]). Nuff said :)... peace! - Mon, 3 Nov 2003 12:04am

Here's an update: Thanks to those people who originally E-Mailed me, but it would of been nice to of gotten a second reply. Hence the project is still up in the air. I'm looking for people who are motivated to be able to jam at least once a week, and have never played in any bands (or not currently playing in bands), the greener the better. E-Mail appreciated as always.

You all up for the challenge?!? - Sat, 15 Nov 2003 12:10pm
