| Dave User Info... | I have been playing drums in a recreational three-piece rock and blues band for the past three years (before moving to Victoria). I am 28, I am now an intermediate level drummer, I love to play, I enjoy dynamics, and have been told that I am good to play with because I "keep the beat relatively simple and know when to shut-up". I have a separate job and have NO aspirations of becoming a professional drummer. I just want to play and have fun on the weekends, or one night a week. I'd be very interested in jamming with like-minded musicians in rock/blues (from Rolling Stones to Headstones). I am also interested in trying different percussion activities such as joining a marching band, or learning more Jazz techniques. Are there such bands/organizations here in Victoria?
