| Wannagig | Hey all. I'm a singer with experience. Been thinking about trying to put together a small jazz band. Haven't sung jazz in years, but was thinking that I might like to try it again. My idea would be; Bass, Guitar, drums, vocals and maybe a sax. Material could range from old standards to newer stuff. Even some fusion with added lyrics. Or beebop with added lyrics. Take an old standard and apply the lyrics to a beebop or fusion tune. I am pretty new to the Victoria scene as far as jazz is concerned and am not sure how many jazz players there are in town. I have a strong voice, good work ethic and good drive. About 3 and half octaves strong. Looking for like minded individuals. Nothing too seriuos just some fun.
