Message Board > Seeking Musicians > PERMANENT FREQUENCY SEEKS SERIOUS DRUMMER!!!! |
King Tarkus User Info... | Alt-progressive band PERMANENT FREQUENCY is in need of a capable, reliable drummer. We play original music, with varied influences including Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Genesis, Radiohead, The Band, and others. -Preferably age 18-25 (but we’re not completely strict about this) -MUST own drum kit -If you have a practice space, that would be a huge plus -Vocal ability not required, but would be helpful We are a very new band. We intend to make our mark on Victoria’s music scene, and we could very well have the opportunity to travel if all goes well. We're also booked for a show on June 5 at Logan's Pub, so we'd like to get this position filled soon. Please call Adam Basterfield if you are interested in this endeavor. King Tarkus User Info... | Hey Jason. I've got a couple PF songs up on our MySpace. I recorded them myself. http://myspace.com/permanentfrequency Both are demos. "Electrocution" I recorded everything on (including drums) as a song sketch. "In Orbit" is just a 12-string guitar/vocal demo I made, but that's supposed to be full band too. We already have a gig under our belt, in which Ben from Suspended Animation helped us out on drums, although he's not able to actually join. We're looking for somebody who can join. This is a very exciting project for everyone involved, and we have the material to show it. - Tue, 22 May 2007 12:58pm | ||
