| SublimeKid User Info... | Hey all, I want to get a band going or at least start searching for some musical chemistry. It will get more serious after Christmas as I will have more free time again. I will just list some influences for what I would like to have a hand in creating. MY influences for this project: MSTRKRFT, John Frusciante, Townes Van Zandt, RJD2, The Strokes, The Hives, The Blue Album, Lindsey Buckingham, Modest Mouse, Doves, Q and Not U, TV on the Radio, Neil Young, Anything mean by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Constantines, Elliot Smith, Kings of Leon...Jets to Brazil.. I play guitar and piano and sing but I am looking for a drummer, bass player, second guitarist, singer, and someone that could switch between synth and mpc would be fucking sweet...if you absolutely had to label this I guess it would be experimental rock mixed with folk and some electronic ambience/sampling..but I would like to keep an open mind to what this could turn into... ..I'm 23...I blaze a bit and enjoy the occasional beer but I'm not into hard drugs or alchoholism..sorry for the long-winded post... My influences are a little more hardcore/metal oriented , but I'm looking to do something completely different.
