Hoffa User Info... | What happened to this place? It used to be filled with posts that went on for pages. Where did everyone go? - Tue, 24 Apr 2012 2:04pm
Above the knee User Info... | Good question... I think everyone just chose to migrate to Facebook/usedvictoria/craigslist... - Tue, 24 Apr 2012 2:28pm

hoffa User Info... | I assume you are referring to some behind the scenes intrigue with the folks who create the site. I'm more concerned with where the viewers/participants have gone. And what's the difference between livevictoria and http://vanislemusic.com - Tue, 1 May 2012 1:46pm Edited: Tue, 1 May 2012 1:48pm
PingPong User Info... | I think people realized the more time spent actually practicing and making music than talking about it on here, the better. - Fri, 4 May 2012 10:11am Edited: Fri, 4 May 2012 10:13am
Hoffa User Info... | Ping Pong, what you write makes perfect sense. And in a perfect world it would be the absolute truth however, judging by the posts I have read here over the many years I would say that is not likely what happened. You give musicians waaaay too much credit. - Fri, 4 May 2012 11:35am Edited: Fri, 4 May 2012 1:26pm
raidrocker User Info... | Its the scene that has died. Metal in Victoria is not what it was in 2002-2008. - Wed, 9 May 2012 10:18pm Edited: Wed, 9 May 2012 10:18pm
DTjackson User Info... | Who is to say that metal is the be all end all of what makes up the Victoria music scene? - Thu, 10 May 2012 3:43pm
James User Info... | Yeah there is more than just Metal but Metal & Punk have tanked over the past couple years and were the bread and butter of cheap shows for teenage angst. There are still a lot of acts especially more generic rock & folk that surely would be seeking musicians. Seems like the live scene has dropped off a lot yet there seem to be a large number of recording artists in town. Seems backwards. This year has been much better so far than last year though. - Fri, 11 May 2012 11:03am
DTjackson User Info... | Could be many different things. Loss in venues. The pay to play mechanics. DJs taking over. I'll think you'll find more and more young bands would rather throw their own house shows. Less and less venues want to take chances on a no-name talent until they have proper recordings and a chance to make a profit. Plus, this ain't the planet of sound. - Fri, 11 May 2012 4:50pm Edited: Fri, 11 May 2012 4:54pm
