| Above the knee User Info... |  - a vocalist or two (male or female doesn't matter. My main requirement is that I want at least one person who is able to actually sing as opposed to screaming. If you're an awesome screamer, feel free to apply since I'm open to multiple singers, especially if you are capable of playing any other instrument) - a drummer (only one). This isn't set in stone but I would optimally like to have someone who is capable of playing to a click track live if needed. - a bass player. Must be capable of writing your own parts. I am not wanting someone to merely double the guitar at all points. Aside from those positions, I would be very interested to add more musicians to the mix, whether it be more guitars(electric/accoustic), keys, more 'exotic' instruemtns that are less often found in the genre... I'm leaning toward at least having a second guitar player but please, if you are interested and play prety much anything, send me an e-mail to [email protected] or reply on here. I do not have an exact style in mind. I just know I want it to be classifiable as metal, have vocals, and sound unique. I am shying away from the 'southern' sounding metal approach though. Id just like to play a hand in creating something new and interesting and play a few shows. I'm not sure how serious I intend it to be since I currently play in the band Reaver. | Above the knee User Info... | Things I should probably clear up after getting a few responses: - This band will most definitely be a metal band. I'm not interested in playing another style. I'm open to incorporating styles but when it comes down to it, I want to play the heavy stuff. - Heavy vocals are awesome. - I do not currently have a free jam space.
