| ::Saint:: User Info... | Who we are: A Victoria-based Synth-Rock band with an original sound, melding various influences in the vein of Muse, Metric, Joy Division, Mother Mother, Crystal Castles, Depeche Mode, She Wants Revenge.. And many others. We have been kicking it around Victoria for the past 2 years or so, with 40+ shows under our belts, and have recently finished recording our second EP with plans to release it hopefully sometime in September. Future plans may include recording a full-length album in the new year (we've been writing up a storm lately) and playing shows on the island as well as in Vancouver and Seattle with as much frequency as possible. Ideally we can hit the road for awhile in 2012 as well. Who we're looking for: Just when we thought we had found a drummer who fit us like a glove, the Navy decided to take him away. It stings, but we're open to falling in love again. We're also looking for someone to take over the keys/synths/programming type stuff so that our singer doesn't have to play three instruments at the same time. Either position invites the potential for great creative collaboration with a band of reformed nerds who thrive on nerdy conversations about various nerdy things. No egos, no drug addicted reprobates.. just people who take their music seriously without taking themselves too seriously at the same time. Hopefully this goes without saying, but you should be prepared to split the costs and reap the rewards of being in an original band equally, and we promise to do the same.
