| Chris User Info... | Anyone else noticing the lack of non-growling death metal vocalists in this city? Where the hell are all the guys (or girls) who just want to sing some melodic alt/prog/hard rock? Seriously? Look, here's the deal: I've got a band on the go (all positions filled except singer/songwriter) and we'd -love- to find a singer who doesn't want to screamo shriek or death growl their goddamn vocal chords away. Nice strong voices in the styling of people such as Maynard James Keenan of Tool or Chris Cornell or Scott Weiland. Hell- maybe even a nice raspy Layne Staley drug addicted vocal styling. Ideally we're looking for someone who can write their own words and melodies down. We'd be happy to offer input if needed. We're just getting off the ground as a new project so we don't have any samples. Shoot me an email or reply on here if you are interested in getting together and jamming.
