Al Marcellus User Info... | We have our demo tape and are just about to start looking for gigs- but all of a sudden we have lost our bass player and need a replacement. We are all very experienced and are confident we will be getting weekend bookings 2 or 3 times a month, but we dont expect the pay to be real great cause with the bass its a 6 way split. So were looking first and foremost for someone who wants to play cause he( or she) loves the music. The ideal candidate will play upright bass and can play by ear, but wed also accept a bass guitar or a tuba, if they have a feel for the music, and readers are welcome provided they can play from a chord chart. Right now we range in age from 21 to 73. We are a Cornet, soprano sax, Trombone (doubling on piano), banjo (doubling on guitar) , and drums. - Mon, 12 Jan 2004 11:48am | ||
