Above the knee User Info... | ![]() Let me know if I've left any important details out. I hope to hear from some people ready to play some metal! - Fri, 31 Aug 2007 9:27pm
Chris User Info... | I wish I could afford a 7 string guitar because this sounds like something I'd like to do. Damnit, someday I'll have money. - Wed, 5 Sep 2007 1:56am
Above the knee User Info... | Well another option would be to get a setup on an existing guitar so that it can play much better in lower tunings.. then you'd have to avoid any leads/parts that would be on the high E string. How many years have you been playing and how old are you? - Wed, 5 Sep 2007 5:29pm
Mike G User Info... | Okay I'm going to change the requirements here. Is there any guitarist who would be willing to tune to B standard on a 6 string (7 string is also fine) for a melodic death metal band set to contain 3 guitarists (yes there is that much guitar in the songs). If you are interested or want to hear the music, I can now send you samples of the songs (all the guitar parts together) - Sat, 22 Sep 2007 9:57am

Mike G User Info... | Hey man, Sorry if this reply i slate or anything.. I dont check these boards often anymore. So where we stand at the moment (the band - Reaver) is we are a 5 piece with 2 7 stringers on board. We actually had 3 but had to part ways due to lack of commitment. We've found that learning the songs goes MUCH faster with 2 guitarists so we will keep on like this until we have enough material down to play a short show. The thing is, I am toying with the idea of bringing in a 3rd guitarist once the rest of us have everything down.. someone who can learn very quickly. So basically, at the moment we wont be recruiting another guitarist but if in a month from now we decide to bring in another guitarist I will be sure to shoot you an e-mail and see if you are still kicking around. Best of luck to you! - Thu, 25 Oct 2007 7:58pm
