nothanks | what the fuck ...is this talent search or something? Im surprised they're not asking for cash..small bills in an unmarked envelope..ya kid we're gonna make you a big star..you'd be lucky to play in one of our venues....isn't this the same bullshit rip off promoter group that did a gallows show in nanaimo and tried to keep all the money? - Sat, 15 Mar 2003 10:51am
Jason @ Black Magic Entertainment | Stow it, you two-faced nobody. You all are lucky someone's showing a little initiative here. If you don't like the way I do business then kiss my ass. - Sat, 15 Mar 2003 2:37pm
Innocent Bystander | Yoinks. Cut down on the coffee, guys. - Sat, 15 Mar 2003 3:30pm
Jesse User Info... | Regardless of who "almost" got ripped off, no one did in the end. Things were sorted out, it was all a misunderstanding. I talked to Clyde the other day about doing a show at Dizzy's with 3 metal bands. Clyde told me 20/80 split of the door, that sounds very reasonable, definitely cheaper than renting a hall... and they have a kickass PA. If you dont like the setup, then dont play, i'm sure it wont put em out of business. - Sat, 15 Mar 2003 3:45pm

TOM User Info... | sounds like a booking agent to me they get you a gig you pay them a fee you get exposure look if you don't like it get your own gigs and most of the time the clubs pay the agent for getting the band so you need it it needs you if your a good band you'll make money if your shit you'll make shit stop fucking complaining - Sat, 22 Mar 2003 8:16pm
SoundGarden | Just so you know, Jason is a stand up guy. I've done several shows with him over the last 2 years and everything is on the up and up. This guy has a super long history of booking and managing and is easy to deal with. That's saying a lot considering managers and promoters can be some pretty sleezy individuals. If you want background on him or this company email [email protected], I'll be happy to fill you in on our experiences. Cheers, Tamara - Sun, 23 Mar 2003 2:13am
